@HonorOfGod Gamespot didn't really make it very clear that there was a link to the video right in their article.

@Ovirew @DanBal76 I noticed that as well, but then I thought about how much review the controller design must have gone through, and the fact that Nintendo has made some of the best controllers in history (thinking mainly N64, which was weird, but worked, and Gamecube)

@nocoolnamejim More difficult than it is to pause your game and pull up Google on your Wii U. ;)

@galactic88 How about be designed for the ground up for gaming? All the social aspects are meant to enhance the gaming experience.

@SSL_Syn My fear is that playing games with anyone other than your friends might still be very limited.

@ohjtbehaaave The fact that it can't connect with Gamecube controllers probably means that it won't be able to play Gamecube discs.

@shinycheese411 It actually struck me as more reminiscent of Dark Souls than anything else.

Being able to turn on your game system and TV with a single remote sounds great. Now if only they had a way to change discs with it too.

@joujou264 @HonorOfGod I am beginning to wonder if perhaps Nintendo has come out of left field and suddenly leap-frogged the online aspects of Sony and Microsoft. It's certainly an interesting idea, and it will be really neat if they do it right. I'm imagining something like Steam right now, only more dynamic and organic.

Did Nintendo just build the online aspect of DarkSouls into their console?
