@luqmanr Why is everyone so intent on the 3DS having a second analog stick? Why does it need a second analog stick? Seems to work just fine for me as is.

@stan_boyd Did you just imply that Super Mario Galaxy didn't offer a challenge?

"According to this random guy's guess."

I think that Gamespot should stop listening to analysts, and start listening to fortune tellers and mediums. It wouldn't be that much less accurate, and it would be far more entertaining.

By the way, this all took place over hundreds of bases over a dozen continents. Even with a useful network of portals (and which bases and continents you currently controlled designated which portals you could use, allowing you to get to battle faster or slower. Once you've loaded up a couple of dropships and are ready to storm a base, it could still take five minutes of flying just to get to where you're going, and that whole time you'll need to make sure you've got air support, and that the base you're attacking has vehicles attacking from the outside to keep the enemy busy, and that you've got the infrastructure to fall back and spawn at. The game was not just a large battle, it was global warfare. And it was great.

Planetside is an MMOFPS like no other. To my knowledge, it's the only game that simulates warfare, where you play as the role of a soldier on the ground. Planetside has logistics, air support, base-crashing, bombing runs, combat engineers laying minefields and listening posts, building portable turrets, spies sneaking around and disabling enemy defences, snipers (that require you to lead your target, and prevent you from simply swinging your rifle around to point and click), shock troopers, tank battalions, light scouts, heavy support.

Oh, and if you decide to grab a couple of big guns and go try and be Rambo? You'll accomplish nothing.

I'm looking forward to this game for one reason, and one reason only.

Because no matter how awesome Halo is, Rooster Teeth will make it look at least twice as awesome.

@Flint247 Personally I don't really consider an XL version to be a revision, remake, or upgrade of any sort.

@RatchetV1 It's a 3DS for bejeweled playing mothers. By most logic, it's actually inferior to the original 3DS. I thought smaller was supposed to be better when it came to technology?

@dkdk999 People like my mother who squinted at her DSLite's screen even with her reading glasses on. She won't even consider the possibility of getting a 3DS, purely because of the fact that the screen is too small for her liking.

@timmy0001 You know nothing. Gamecube was a failure because it was essentially the exact same thing as the competition. Power Glove wasn't even a Nintendo product. N64 DD and Virtual Boy are about the only legitimate complaints there.

R.O.B. Wow. Do some research, and you'll see how R.O.B. was the entire reason that console gaming became a thing again in the American market. R.O.B. was a resounding success for what it was meant to do.
