Please, Crysis just like any other FPS? You haven't even tried playing it yet, how the heck can you even judge a game when you haven't played it yet.

What did i say? I said i havn't played it, and i was GUESSING its bascially the same. Please tell me whats so innovative, and what Crysis brings to the table, other than amazing graphics, that other FPS' cannot?

WiC is a POS imho. I played it for 2 hours and got bored, its nice at the begining but theres nothing but graphics to hold you, i pushed my self to finish the camp even though the game was so boring to play.

I havn't tried Crysis, but if it hadcrappy graphics, would it be GOTY? No its just like any other FPS i'm guessing.

The Witcher deserves GOTY it only got a 8.5 on GS because they put down the score because of lip-syncing and voice acting was a bit off, but i mean its avaliable in like 8 languages, give it a break, that doesn't make a game. It deserved easily a 9 or 9.5.

And by my comment about mediocrety, C&C 3 is mediocre. It has all the RTS elements and some tweaks but nothing revolutionary. a Good RTS is WC3, SC etc. You on the other hand, seem to think mediocre means sucky

No, I don't think C&C 3 is a crap game, I think it's medicore, as in average.

Well, I like it alright based on the demo, and I do plan to get it. I like DoW more, but C&C3 was still fun for me. But many people were let down by it. I think most of the bashing it gets is more from the fact that it didn't live up to its hype or its Command & Conquer name to many people than from it just being a mediocre or bad RTS.

Still, even with that said, it's not nearly on the level of popularity that DoW is. Think about it, DoW beat Starcraft (if only by a little), a very popular RTS itself, in the last poll you did. Now, put the DoW series up against the C&C series as a whole, and the results of that poll might be a little different.

Im pretty sure the only reason DoW won the poll VS Starcraft was because it was released a good 8 years after, and there are more PC gamers now because of the eye candy, and many of the new pc gamers have not tried SC. I see so many people on these forums saying "How can you like Starcraft, it looks like crap." "Omg, SC graphics suck."

For a poll to have a true result it would have to be 2 games released near each other.

Dow would get owned when SC2 comes out and u made a "DoW Vs SC2" poll. lol

If you want a good RPG play The Witcher, it won't disappoint.

Maybe if Fallout 3 was being made by Interplay like 1 and 2, but now its gonna get butchered by Buthedes and turn into a post-apocolyptic clone of Oblivion.

Starcraft 2 hands down, Blizzard never disappoints.

Is this FPS revolutionary or does it introduce any "new" aspects that other FPS' don't? Other than shiny graphics that will push your systems, this game probably doesn't deserve anything higher than maybe 8 or 8.5.

Just another hyped game like Bioshock thats gonna last a week after release.

And ill bring this up as an example since we're talking about scores. Now a true game that deserves 9+ would be the Witcher, because the new team of developters were brave enough to add new aspects and mature content to they're game, something that a company rarely attempts and has success.

This is one of the stupidest comparisons i have ever seen. Your comparing 2 completely different RTS' that have a 6 year span in between. Starcraft being released in 1998, and Warhammer in 2004.

Starcraft is much more about managing bases and resources, and Warhammer is how fast u can build your army. Starcraft is more about micro managing single units to prevent them from dieing, especially in the begining of the game, while in DoW you have squads, and can't micro every unit.

Lets make this comparison again when Starcraft 2 comes out and see who wins.
