I've chosen Xbox360 over the Playstation 3 this generation, but the sheer arrogance of Microsoft nowadays is pissing me off. First Windows 8 with its touch screen bs for non touch screen keyboard and mouse computers, and now this. Microsoft doesn't listen to anyone, comes up with ideas that's just completely out there. And no matter how much people hate it, they basically tell us to deal with it. He's saying vote with our wallets, then I'll love to see majority of people not buying Xbox One and make them feel what it feels like to make something no one wanted.
This thing seems overly complicated to catch on. And the only people who really benefit from it is Microsoft and the publishers, as it wasn't mentioned that the developers get a cut too. The retailers won't agree to this as their cut is too low, unless they're really desperate. The gamers will get screwed either way as you can't just sell your games to the person next to you, or on online sites like ebay. It has to be by an approved retailer. And it seems like the gamers who do buy these used games might end up paying more for it than if they just bought a new game. Which creates more problems for ones who can't afford new game prices, or even for people who missed out on a game the first time around, and there's only used games left on shelves during the time they decide to buy a game. This sounds like pure greed more than anything else.
"One of the things that I don't think we truly understand the significance of yet is automatic identity through Kinect." But doesn't signing into your own account does that anyway? No one in my family or even my friends will have an account that's like mine, so once again the kinect is pointless. And you say core gamers are so important to you but yet during your reveal it was so important to show, TV features, the NFL, and all the other nonsense that core gamers don't really care about and features that rival smart tvs.
So let me get this straight. You'll have to pay a fee to use the used game you just buy right? Which means that if you try to play your own game at your friend's house with your friends, you can't play that game because that game is locked to your own console via a game code during the Xbox install. Yeah... I'll pass. As a guy who used Xbox 360 most this generation, I'll be looking forward to PS4 more.
I DO NOT LIKE THE SOUND OF THIS! Normally a company would tell you that the next installment will surpass the current one, but when they say that they don't expect it to do that well, it scream half a$$ game to me.
@ZexionLuv @TooCoolForYou I've heard. But a man can dream, can he? lol. That's why I'm looking forward to Playstation 4 a lot more next gen. And this is coming from a guy who currently plays Xbox 360 more.
Now if only Microsoft would just get rid of Xbox Live Gold and do what Sony is doing with the free the play internet service then I would be impressed.
Says the company who releases a new Assassin Creed each year. I think they made a mistake. I think they meant to say "major leap in quantity" not quality.
