Casual - although my zone is Pro, I approach games calmly and collectively for a bit of fun, and if I get achievements then all the better . . . until I get killed by a spawncamper for the 10th time in a row, which is generally the point where I throw my controller at the monitor . . . one day it will hit and I'll be sorry.
I also only ever go for Team modes, but I only use my mic about half the time because it starts to annoy my flatmates at 1 in the morning . . . so those hosts who insist on people having mics active or, in ranked matches, having a certain rank [like I only picked up GRAW 2 last week and can't even get a lookin on ranked matches because hosts just boot me when they see my scrawny level, despite the fact that I'm pretty good at GRAW2 MP] really rile me up.
No chance that SWG will ever be properly fixed. At least, not on a timescale that is acceptable. Your best hope for a Star Wars RPG is to hope that Lucasart comes up with a new one soon - and gets a decent developer experienced in MMORPGs - to create, or assist in creating it.
The only complaints I have are the Vegas MP achievements - which seem to make up most of the score. GRAW 2 and other games I can understand - because the MP is absolutely fantastic, but Vegas is a game which me and my mates just prefer to pick up and have a bit of fun on.
1st Person for most solo shooters [Exception to the rule is Republic Commando] and online shooters [Excluding GRAW/2 MP] but 3rd Person for tactical squad shooters.
Uhh, it's active when you activate your Xbox Live account. It's not like retail Xbox Live in that it is active automatically with any new Gamertag [not just your first one]
Bungie is a great developer, so I hope that they don't get tied down in working on Halo games for the rest of their existence. Seriously - there is absolutely no point in continuing a beloved franchise beyond what the people love, a la Star Wars. Hope that they stretch their wings again and create something equally spectacular as the first Halo.
Indeed. You can pre-order most games these days long befor ea release date is announced. I've got a pre-order on Mass Effect, which has been unofficially slated to come out in Jan., Feb., March, April, May and now June, possibly July, maybe even August on some sites. You can pre-order and Halo 3 edition you can/want from most sites in Europe or North America.
