Im guessing that if you bought a new game, you will get a code similar to BF3 where you gain access to multiplayer and certain features. But if you sell your copy as second hand, the next guy will only get limited features possibly making the game SP only. Its probably harsh but who knows maybe XONE wont be that harsh.
I actually dont play any classic characters. Have not played one for a while. Or at least as far as I can remember. I am literally looking through my games list. And I cant see any old characters in any. Maybe Resident Evil but that was a while ago. The games that I play are modern and of this decade. The last MGS I played was MGS original itself. I stuck to PC + X360 so I havent been up to date with MGS. The characters I play on the X360 are modern like Fable, Assassins creed, Gears of war, LA Noire. Even Alan Wake was good.
Id understand if Mario was an actor BUT game characters arent like actors. Will Smith(Career started in the 1990s) gets better over the years. And it shows in his movies; action, drama, comedy. Mario(1988) on the other hand just doesnt step outside his box. He will never do war, his drama will never be taken seriously and his comedy/jokes are old.
Nintendo's press conferences have gotten worse and worse since the first one. I could still remember 2011(or was it 2010) where people were yawning on how boring it was. I cant believe I went through that...
THANK GOD they are skipping E3. I cant handle knowing people have to go through yet another.
Heres a fact... Mario and Donkey Kong are 30 + years old. Link and Metroid are both 25+ years old. Why am I seeing the same character over and over and over year after year after year??
Collectors editions are not worth it. Especially those with toys in them. Things you wont be playing with if you are busy playing the game itself. In-game toys are just about the same. These things will attract 'noobs' that will follow you around looking at your skin/pet/gun for a few minutes at the same time interupting your gameplay asking you questions like "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?" followed with a remark "OMG I WANT ONE!"
All this just gives you an occasional minute of fame either real world or in-game.
@santinegrete I found out that collecting rubbish collectors editions that cost more than original is a total waste of fkn time. What am I gonna do with them? Play with them? Sorry but im are busy looking at the computer screen and playing games. It will just clutter my already messy room.
And my fkn interior decorator self would never use that crap. Why waste money? Keep collectors stuff as software and extra features and things.
