But if you dont mind first person view, There is X1,X2,X3. And im NOT talking about X-COM yuck.

Heres a link: http://store.steampowered.com/app/2810/

You start with a small ship, then trade and fight, upgrade to bigger ships, have escorts, then buy industries and bigger ships, have heaps of money flowing in, then eventually conquer the universe. Also there is a above evarage storyline.

The most similar games to it are Eve online, Space Pirate VS Zombies, and Starfarer.

Starfarer, so far is the most similar to EV NOVA. and FKN AWESOME LOOKING!

It is still in production but you can play the alpha version or something. There is no 'WORLD' yet and no storyline yet. But if you check the videos, you will know why they arent there yet. Theres just so much in the gameplay.

First of all im not a regular poster on this forum and no I havent browsed around to see if questions below have been discussed in other threads. Although I have spent an hour searching google for anything about them.

OK so there was a XBL patch just a few days ago. Ive been having several problems with it.

Today on the game marketplace menu on the dashboard, I clicked on 'More Games at Your Fingertips', then 'What is Games on Demand' and read the FAQs there. Right at the bottom it says:

Q: Can I use my credit card to purchase Games on Demand? What about other content on LIVE?

A: Since Games on Demand tend to be offered at a higher price point than other content on Xbox LIVE, we've added the choice to purchase with either Microsoft Points or credit card. All other Xbox LIVE content will continue to be purchased using Microsoft points.

So I went to check if I could use my microsoft points to buy a GoD game. And no the 'Confirm Download' option doesnt exist. Instead theres an 'Add Payment Option' available together with the other ussual options. Is anyone else getting this problem? How much microsoft points to I need to buy to get a GoD game?

Next thing is the Avatar Awards. Does anyone know anything else other than 'Some games will give you Avatar awards when achievements are unlocked'. What games? What achievements? What awards? Anyone?

And finally, an old issue about adding credit cards to XBL.

Firstly, Im from New Zealand. Some of my XBL friends from NZ have had Gold since it became available. They entered their credit card details fine and was able to get Gold then. But 2 XBL patches ago, ALL my new and old XBL friends from NZ could not enter their credit card details anymore. EVERYONE recieves the message "Your credit card details could not be verified. ..." This is both on XBOX website and on the console. My friends and I have contacted both our credit card issuer and XBL and they both blamed each other. Either contact your credit card issuer or wait 24 hours and try again.

Search on Google reveals other countries like Mexico? having the same problem. Spanish posts but similar problems.

So... Anyone got any ideas?

If I cant enter my credit card details or use microsoft points for GoD, then whats the use of Games on Demand?
