I don't pay too much attention to trailers and hype for that very reason.

[QUOTE="TheFatPerson"]Your best bet is buying a PS2 or an SNES off of eBay and getting games for those. If you need something more modern or more recent, then PSP or DS, really. RPGs are something of a dying art on modern console hardware. Vari3ty

A dying art? How so?

I've just been noticing hell of a lot less RPGs coming out on modern hardware. Namely the 360 and PS3 in particular. That may be a different story in Japan or a country like that, but I'm just taking into the fact that if you compare the libraries of the 360 and PS3 to say, the PS1, PS2 and SNES, there's a pretty big difference in the amount that there are coming out now as opposed to back then.

[QUOTE="ChampionoChumps"][QUOTE="TheFatPerson"][QUOTE="Hishiko"] that's not nice

i know, eh? Some people are just rotten, angry, armchair cynics that always look for the faults in others right away. :(

You're going to fit in juuuust fine.

Haha! You guys are not a welcoming, friendly bunch, eh? ;)

far cry 2 - game was terrible, the atmosphere was pretty good though.Jagged3dge
This times a million. If there was an award for the world's greatest snoozefest, Far Cry 2 would definitely take the cake. I don't even think I made it 3 hours in.
