I had a bunch of friends as a kid and they all played video games. Doom, Duke, console, all the good stuff. And you know what? now days they dont even game anymore, they stopped playing somewhere around 2002 i think. And besides, there is nothing *special* about those who played back then and experienced all the older games while growing up, because seriously, i dont know someone who DIDNT play back then. I mean, all the kinds i knew played video games, its more interesting to see who actually continued (and ill tell you, not much, from all the group of friends that i had, im the only one who continued playing games, and i didnt even played doom or duke back then).
My first steam account disabled too, it was over a year ago. Steam said i had some kind of charge back, and told me to check the issue with my bank, so i did it. My bank said that there is no charge back on my visa, so i explained it to Steam, and they said that they are sorry, they cant re-open my account until i solve the charge back problem. I called my bank again and explained them that i have an online account of some service, and the service claims that i have a charge back, my bank said "we are sorry, but everything is fine and you have no charge backs, you should speak with the service". I explained it AGAIN to steam support, i even wanted to pay again for the games that got charged back, but steam didnt let me... I said F*ck it, and opened a new account, good that i didnt have a lot of games, but i did have around 1500 hours in L4D 1+2 so its a shame but no big deal. Now i use steam only for games like L4D & TF2... as for other games, no way im gonna buy them even if they will cost 0.99%.
