@Thanatos2k: Yeah I'm sure that's why. They intentionally didn't think about balancing the cards as opposed to not jacking up a certain class. It didn't have anything to do with the fact that many players get too frustrated playing against priest. Nothing to do with that, right?
Hopefully this will make the matches go smoother so I'm glad they made this move. Problem is that the 50% of players who aren't interested in cosmetic rewards won't be deterred.
@croxus: The reviews aren't important here. They could give this game a 5 and it wouldn't change much. The interest was there before any of the reviews were released. I'm not a fan of the characters - they definitely had LoL in mind. Still I like this game a lot. You should just say you don't like the game. The talk about the game being forgotten is hard to buy.
One of the best games I've played. Like everyone said, I wish there was a way to not need to grind so much at high levels though. It takes a while to get your staff back together if things don't go well. Either way fantastic game.
@Shimayama: Yeah, this is fairly prevalent. As a result, most of the movies I've reviewed on imdb have their scores very slightly lowered if I've rated them. Like, hey this movie was OK, I'll give it a 6. No reason that you and I should propagate intentionally doing it wrong. Xaiax's point makes sense. It's apparent that we all see this the same way, but I didn't get the impression that game reviewers are looking at it that way - in that the games on the lower end of the spectrum, just aren't being reviewed. If they are looking at it that way, then I suppose I didn't give game reviewers enough credit.
