Go to hell Team Ninja. I trusted you guys and you let me down with NG3. No essence, no Muramasa, no buying items, no dismemberment, only one costume [as I remember], only one weapon [wtf?], and the story was shit. I'm going to be very skeptical about considering to buy another Ninja Gaiden game in the future.

Considering you put a lot more content into this next NG3, it only makes me more angry considering you could've just as well added in a lot of this in NG3. No, I'm not going to buy this, and I wouldn't buy this either if it came to the PS3. Get your act together or I'm done with Ninja Gaiden.

P.S. - Where're the claws and the sickle w/chain and ball? Tonfas? I didn't see them.

Tripped-out trailer. I'll probably enjoy taking this Dexter apart, literally.

You know what? Screw what people think! I'm an American, and I'm damn proud we beat the British in that war! If it bothers you that Connor is killing British soldiers then go cry in a corner and don't play the game.

@3nd_Of_The_Lin3

I don't know. The house-building feature would have to be pretty extensive.

I've always wanted to adopt children and make my own home from scratch, but shouldn't this be in addition to another storyline that we haven't quite seen yet?

Connor doesn't start out as an assassin. He starts out as an agent of justice, after witnessing the atrocities against his own people. He is generally and ultimately for freedom and not just the advances of the Assassins, at least not at first.

As for your second point... I'm not sure about whether he is going to think the Templars are only on the side of the British at first or not, it was just something that I saw as 'likely' in my opinion considering the fact that he is for justice and freedom, and the British are the tyrants of the period. Of course though, this was something I assume to be only at first.

Are not Assassin's revolutionaries in their own right? And contemporary means to exist at the same time. I don't see why this term is so bothersome. He and the revolutionary colonists have one thing in common: the ideals of justice and freedom. He doesn't work for the Americans, but he he co-operates with them because their beliefs are aligned, although, no doubt, Connor has more than just the freedom of the colonies at stake in his endeavors.

We haven't seen him kill American soldiers yet in what we've seen from the footage. That does not mean however that this won't happen. It is only logical that if Connor were seeking to kill a Templar under a well-known revolutionary guise, he may have to kill some colonial guards in the process. But since we haven't seen all the Templars yet, your guess is as good as mine. I just presume from their statement that Connor will be killing Templars on both sides that this might be something we will see that they have not yet revealed for their own reasons.

You ask why aren't we shown to be able to kill other peoples besides British soldiers? lol I can't answer that for you. But I also cannot deny the possibility that we will kill more than just British soldiers.

In regards to your last paragraph, I cannot withdraw my statement which you have quoted. The reason is because I realize the fact that this series' villains are indeed the Templars and no-one else directly. But indirectly, throughout the entire AC series, we are forced to have to combat those who guard these enemies, whether they know who they're guarding or not. What I meant to say was that there will always be a general 'force' or opposition that the assassin in ploy will have to fight or get through to take out his target. By default, this opposition will have to be one "race" or another. So my statement yet stands, expounded.

In conclusion, I see the Templars as the enemy in the series, that have infiltrated all nationalities, as you put it, and that is why the British soldiers in the game, whether they know it or not, become an enemy of a sort; not by being in direct opposition against the Assassin's, but by being obstacles to them.

To those who are saying the British are getting railed on because that's all Connor's killing, I say broaden your scope a little bit here. The Templars who are on the side of the Revolution, which Connor is for, are extremely incognito, and unlikely to be thought of as Templars. Naturally, Connor must fight against the British because they stand in the way of America being free, and in the process find out about the Templars. He's most likely going to think the Templars are only on the side of the British, so of course a lot of British soldiers are going to die. You think they are just going to let him kill their generals, especially considering the possibility that many of them have no idea they're serving Templars? The whole point is Connor is ultimately going to be unbiased. If he discovers his revolutionary contemporaries are Templars [and it's stated he will], he will hunt them down and kill them. And while he's doing that who do you think will be standing in his way? American soldiers.

You guys are making a bigger deal out of this than needs be. All the past AC games we were killing Italians, French, Turks, Byzantines, Arabs, Jews, and Crusaders. But now that our opponents are English you guys are saying that Ubisoft is being over-excessive. You do realize that Desmond is going to have to kill American Templars? Someone has to be the enemy or opposing force here. Don't take it personally.
