Try deleteing the files for the game and reinstall it again. I have had this happen with other games and deleteing the files and reinstalling fixed the issue for me. Not saying it will fix your problem but it's worth a try.jimm895

I've never once had it with MW3 or any ps3 game for that matter. If u tried other ps3 games they're fine then its obviously MW3. So just go get ur $ back or get a new one.cause not all copies are like that.silentnightmere

I have a few friends who got the error and the freezing a lot also and I looked on other forums and saw the same problem, I guess I'll just drive down to the mall tomorrow and see if they will exchange it.

Wanted to know what the problem was, a lot of people get the disc error and then a lot don't. My friend told me it might be my laser in my PS3 and others said they get the same thing and it's how MW3 was made.

Have you tried other games to see if it's your PS3? If the disc is bad I guess you should take it back if you bought it used.

I played Black Ops and GT5 since I bought MW3 and had no problem, I bought the game new tho.

I bought MW3 3 days ago and after 8 hours of playing time I've got "Disc Error" over 15 times and it freezes to the point I have to shut my PS3 off at least two times an hour.

Is it my Ps3? I haven't even had this PS3 for a year yet and it's a 160GB with over 80GB free space and it never happened with any other games.

Do I have a bad disc or is it like this for everyone?

I just bought the game and the first game went smooth then the second game my PS3 froze half way through it, then my third game went smooth and it froze again on the 4th and the 5th it had a disc error, anyway to solve this?

My PS3 is a 160GB and less than a year old with over 80 GB of space left.

I just got this for 1 year because just alittle bit over 4 dollars a month is a pretty great deal, but I have a few questions about it tho.

1. How often does the store update? I mainly got it for the 'free' games, to play demos of games and to buy some games at a discount when I feel like it.

2. Do I need to be signed in to play the free games I downloaded?
