Also, this just started happening, I played all these games before but just recently none of them have been able to play.

I have a PS3 160 GB that I bought in July 2011 so it's a newer one and most games don't even show the disc on the menu screen to play. The disks however play on my friend's PS3 perfectly and they are newer games like MW3, Killzone 3, Skyrim, Black ops and a lot of other ones. Some games do play like GT5 but most of them don't even show a disc symbol, any reason why?
I have 83/160 GB storage left so it's not that I don't have enough memory.
I've decided to try out an Xbox360 and I'm not that big of a gamer I basically just play the call of duty games when bored and was wondering if the 4gb Xbox360 would be enough?
[QUOTE="Shane354"][QUOTE="silentnightmere"] Then maybe you weren't destined to play mw3. silentnightmere
:'(, might just sell the disc back for whatever they will give me and try Diablo 3 out lol
Yeah , There's plenty of quality titles to enjoy rather then MW3LIES! There is only CoD and CoD only!
[QUOTE="Shane354"]Then maybe you weren't destined to play mw3.I just traded my new MW3 disc in for a new one and my first game I got Disc Error after 2 minutes into the first game...

I deleted the files on my system, but it didn't do the install thing it just made me redo the screen size.
You didn't delete the file then. You may have to look for the file under the PS3 utility tab I think that's where it is and delete all the files for the game your wanting to reinstall.Oh, I did the save data one, thanks.

Try deleteing the files for the game and reinstall it again. I have had this happen with other games and deleteing the files and reinstalling fixed the issue for me. Not saying it will fix your problem but it's worth a try.jimm895
Should I delete the online storage files too or just the ones on my PS3?
