@S0lidSnake: Re-reading the article I see what you mean. It'll be interesting to hear the whole story hopefully soon. As for the game being screwed, that's a knee-jerk reaction. We don't know how far along in development they are, how the game will turn out, if development can transition smoothly, etc. For all we know she was doing a terrible job with the next gen development and so say booted her to save the game, not destroy it. We'll just have to see.

Well if there was a creative conflict and they are the ones in charge then it sounds like both sides didn't budge. If she had stayed it sounds like they would have gone nowhere as decisions would never be made. You either have to compromise, debate it out, or leave. I guess she chose to leave which is unfortunate. I always try to tell myself that someday people will actually understand what compromising is.

@thereal25: Agreed. Played and beat the first one. Couldn't force myself to beat the second one even when playing co-op. It's just a whole lot of meh. That being said, I'm sure it's fairly cheap now so can't hurt. A lot of people did enjoy it.

Honestly at this point a full color manual makes me think more highly of the game. I am the kind of guy to read the whole manual, especially if they have stuff in there like character biographies, back story, etc. I'd do that before even playing the game.

I'm certainly not. There was no way it was going to be absolutely amazing as a game.

@ristactionjakso: I'd put LoD above it, but both are incredibly well made games that I think a lot of people passed on at the time. Couldn't go wrong with either really.

It was fine yes. If it had been longer I don't think I could have kept playing, but short and sweet, sure. It of course had a lot more potential however.

I got really into Legend of Dragoon, I reccomend that.

Could not recommend this enough. If you haven't played LoD yet you owe yourself the pleasure of playing through it. Back when FF still claimed they couldn't do voice work with CGI LoD proved them wrong. It is for the PS1 btw.

@Pikminmaniac: Ah yes, add Prototype 2 to the list. For that matter add Too Human as well.
