Got it as well. I play a lot of older pc games (2002 and some earlier) as well, haven't read much up on how Win10 handles it. I assume about the same as Win8 (not at all)?

Already dual booting Win7 and Ubuntu, might as well partition the drive again...

@korvus: How dare you drag me into this scary place! I don't even know these people! That being said, I act the exact same way in real life as I do here, though I don't believe I've ever goofed off on here like I do in real life so I suppose it's just one side of me.

I still need to give you my email because the GS inbox isn't going to work with all the PMs I constantly get.

Is certainly possible. It's a large market for sure and would be highly desirable to have a foothold in.

But WINE isn't an emulator, its a compatibility layer.

Semantics and hair splitting. Wine is certainly a gray area (if it needs to be discussed, it obviously is) and as such, it's always safest to err on the safe side when discussing it ;)

(In other words, feel free to discuss it, but leave personal experiences and recommendations out of the discussion. So far that hasn't been done so by all means carry on.)

The sad thing is, this game is making money.

And there lies the problem. People spend insane amounts of money for all kinds of crap. Do you think it honestly costs Starbucks $8 for your coffee? There are people that buy a cup every. single. day. The problem is that as long as people are willing to spend it, why would a business not take advantage of it?

The problem with this industry as a whole in my opinion, is the lack of care and education of "gamers" now-a-days when it comes to the gaming *industry*. If we were all a bunch of conscious, educated consumers, the industry would be very different right now. But of course that's not the case. Everyone and their grandmother plays games now. What do they care if a business practice isn't good for the industry? They don't, and as long as that continues business practices will suffer.

All this being said, this is NOT just limited to mobile gaming as is suggested. All through gaming, we are typically paying more for less than we did even a few short years ago.

I just got my Nexus 5 today and am looking into some games to put on it. Does anyone have a hidden gem I might have not tried yet? I don't really care about the genre or even really price, though as always, free is better :P

Perhaps they are just targeting their average customer? It'd be silly to think that both companies do not have a deep understanding of what their customers want. It's mostly likely just the case that the majority of shoppers have a higher chance of purchasing a Apple product from them.

Either that, or they have a sweet business deal.

I put other because it can be none of the above or all of the above. Honestly I view it like the indie scene on PC because really that's what it is. Sure you have a few big name companies, but the gems come from the small guys. Of course two thirds of it is crap and that's just something we have to deal with. When ANYONE can make a game you get some gems, and lots of coal. Just the nature of the beast.

I do not go to Gamestop anymore so if I don't buy it on Steam I but it on Amazon. That being said, I haven't spent $60 on a game in many years.
