[QUOTE="John_Read"][QUOTE="chrisrooR"] They make great games. And myself, and most of the people I know, are going to buy both versions. Don't hate business strategy man. They get away with it not ONLY because of people who buy both versions, but that if it was available for PC straight away there would be a ton of people who would only buy one version. How can you buy the game 6-8 months down the line and still say you aren't supporting the practice? By buying the product later you're just reinforcing exactly the practice you're getting so miffed about. chrisrooR
agreed valve, blizzard,Dice needs to adapt that business strategy soon i hope BF4 and witcher 3 gets 6 to 9 months delayed for PC :P

There wouldn't be enough of a reason to double dip on those games though. If there was, you can bet they would already be doing it.

Yeah I think the GTA games have a ton of reasons to double dip. Insane and popular mod support, vast community, online modes (with improvements to PC), incredibly beautiful graphics that make the immersive world much more immersive, etc.

GTA V is pretty amazing, and though I don't think I'll buy it again for full price on PC, I'll definitely rebuy it somewhere down the line.

I'm actually willing to double dip for this game. It's that good.

Anybody know how to game the stock market to make millions? I want to buy all the properties, but I hear you can't do that by just doing missions, so I'm trying to game the stock market. Do I get a lot of money for 100% completion? I might go for that if I get a massive payday out of it.

[QUOTE="mkjohns"]It just feels so frustrating that I can play it now, but on the PS3. Is it worth it even with the frame rate, graphics and terrible aiming?couly
Graphics are the best I've seen on consoles. The frame rate is excellent and the aiming/driving are all perfect. Rockstar are magicians. If you don't play it when you can there's something wrong with you.

Yeah I was worried it would be a technical mess on modern consoles, especially with some people complaining about pop in and frame rate, as well as the sheer ambition and beauty of the game existing on modern consoles.

I have to say, it looks great and runs smoothly. Frame rates only get choppy when exploring in submarines or when the action gets intense, but nowhere near as choppy as, say, Blight Town in Dark Souls. Performance wise, if you're obsessed with perfect graphics there is a slight bit of pop in and low res textures if you look up close in some places, but those issues are rare and the game is easily one of the most gorgeous games on consoles.

I'd say it's worth buying it now if you really cannot wait. I know I couldn't.

There was a lot of work done, and it can be a lot of fun online, but the DLC population counts are super low.

I'd recommend getting it mainly for the single player, so I wouldn't grab the complete pack, especially not at $85 when the base game is often $20 or lower.

The Last of Us is certainly one of my favorite games this generation, but the absolute best? Maybe not.

I definitely would have stacked Bioshock, Red Dead Redemption, The Orange Box and Grand Theft Auto IV much, much higher, but those were some fine choices I cannot disagree with.

I enjoyed the first one, but I am MUCH more excited by the second so I kind of wish I did (though pre ordering the 4 pack was much cheaper with 3 friends).

It's still super arcadey, but I love the ability to select how you go about a robbery, choosing what you take, what route you go, and how you go about doing the mission. It also looks much more challenging and varied, which I like.

I'm excited for the point when someone makes a more realistic bank robbery game, Payday 2 is fun, but even with better AI and less hordes of cops, you're still fighting waves of cops. Maybe not hundreds per mission as with Payday 1, but still a lot.

I'd buy it if it was on Steam, and I know many others would too. I played it years ago on Xbox, but I'd love to play it with the additional levels with a co-op buddy.

This thread is two years old, but I guess it kinda fits given everything we know.

But I guess outside of multiplayer, we know must of what there is to know. It's going to be a great game, that's for sure.
