Rockstar already confirmed 16 players for consoles, though if the PC version has 32 players, you better believe I'm buying GTA V twice.

Well, looks like I'm buying it on the good 'ol PS3 then... Might get it on PC later...

Smart man. All these other people are holding out for their poor port, for some reason. Have fun waiting a year for the PC release, and then another six months for it to be adequately fixed up.

Have fun playing an inferior version and paying for DLC while we pay less, get free DLC and play a better version of the same game.

Just because you say PC players will magically get some free, cheaper and exclusive content, doesn't mean it's true, no matter how bad you wish for it.

[QUOTE="chrisrooR"] There wouldn't be enough of a reason to double dip on those games though. If there was, you can bet they would already be doing it. bonafidetk

Yeah I think the GTA games have a ton of reasons to double dip. Insane and popular mod support, vast community, online modes (with improvements to PC), incredibly beautiful graphics that make the immersive world much more immersive, etc.

GTA V is pretty amazing, and though I don't think I'll buy it again for full price on PC, I'll definitely rebuy it somewhere down the line.

pretty sure GTA has zero mod support. Its just that clever folks figured out how to mod the engine.

I didn't say "Rockstar mod support", I said "popular mod support", as in the community has made a TON of mods and the series seems to be full of amazing mods that we will likely see in GTA V. I guess there could be a misunderstanding since it usually means mods are supported by devs, but Rockstar certainly doesn't seem to stamp them out altogether, they just don't make an effort to include tools.

Plus with the removal of GFWL, I imagine it will be much easier to use mods and enjoy the game online or offline.

So far, GTA V is one of the best games I've ever played, it's fun, it's massive, and the character switching is one of the most innovative things I've seen a game introduce. Plus, with all the different choices and stock market stuff, I can gladly say I will play through the game again on PC with just as much love as I play it on PS3, not to mention how GTA Online in general looks worth a purchase alone, and that the PC version will likely sport improvements (like more players per server) as well as my closest buddies all together for it (since we're all split between PS3, Xbox 360, and a few who didn't buy it to wait, though we all plan on getting it on PC)

GTA IV's system was WAY too easy, here you just have to think outside the box.

If you have one or two, it's easy to just hide in the outskirts or avoid the cops for a bit in a parking lot since there's no chopper to mercilessly follow you.

Three and Four stars are also manageable, you just need to stay under things to stay out of the chopper's eyesight.

Plus, if you switch vehicles without anyone seeing, the cops won't know it's you until they get really close, which aids in escapes, while bushes make for great concealment. Stunt jumps also usually get me out of a jam if cops are right behind me, and if all else fails, if you can get to an LCS customs shop, you can hide inside it until your wanted level goes away if nobody sees you enter (like GTA IV's pay n spray system).

You have to play the stock market based on events in the world itself. Like if something happens to a business during the story then invest alot in the competitor to that business.

PhazonBlazer

Yeah I've been doing that, but those events are few and far between.

You can also take out trucks for a company and invest in their rival to make a profit, but it's very time consuming and takes a while to find trucks and then escape cops who you anger by blowing up trucks.

I've also had a random event where I brought a guy to the airport and he suggested a stock to invest in.

Nice, I'll have to keep an eye out for hitchhikers more often. Stupid Hawk and Little, I invested thousands into them, all they need to do is rise just a little for me to triple my profits or more, but they're constantly at $1

I think GTA IV story was better, I liked Niko and his friends more, and the world also felt a little more cohesive (with more interaction with stuff like street vendors), but GTA V seems much better in most ways.

Anybody know how to game the stock market to make millions? I want to buy all the properties, but I hear you can't do that by just doing missions, so I'm trying to game the stock market. Do I get a lot of money for 100% completion? I might go for that if I get a massive payday out of it.

It's an amazing game, though anyone who owns only a Wii U has likely only ever owned Nintendo systems, and doesn't know how great the franchise is or simply have no interest.

But man, they are missing out, and at this point anyone who says otherwise is probably jealous of not being able to play it. Or like, trolling, I guess.

I mean yah it's a pretty sweet game u guise.
