@fgjnfgh Fear of the moment and the rejection. I asked a girl out yesterday. Whether you have solid social skills or not, it's a difficult thing to do, just probably less difficult for those who are solid at socializing.

Totally agree that the more you get rejected the less you care, or the less you actually fear rejection. It's just like whatever, right. Like, I really just don't care anymore. Yesterday I thought the best way to ask this chick out was make make "Ramones" reference. Since the last member of The Ramones died, I thought it would be cool to say "Hey, ho, let's go!...out sometime," then slip her a note with my name and number.

Ya...that didn't work.

@naz99 The definition of social does seem to be more complicated these days. But this article does say that VR will continue to move entertainment "further and further away from shared social experiences." Which is true, and why its taken a bit a heat from this former Valve chap.

@grin89 There are other ways to get away from people, like living in a cave or moving to the mountains and building a small hut for yourself.

@divinejester Saying Nintendo lacks creativity is like saying Steam lacks sales. You got to be kidding us, right?

@TheGreatGhoul @thetravman Again. Point goes over the head. PS4 and XBONE have very similar content on their systems. Buying one or the other, you're going to have a similar experience (maybe some less P's with the xBONE). The software on the Wii U is immensely different than what is on both the xBONE and PS4.

@ShadowSkill11 You guys just equate everything to sales. Nintendo really doesn't care about getting big Westernized AAA games on the Wii U, though if the AAA devs want to port their game over to the Wii U then Nintendo would be happy to have it. When Nintendo thinks hardware, they're not thinking "my god, how do we bend over backwards and make sure all those western games end up on our console." Sony and Microsoft already do that. The funny thing is though, I don't think the PS4 or BONE are coasting on 3rd party sales (no game on either system has sold like millions upon millions), yet both (especially the PS4) are selling very well. So what is selling them then? Solid marketing. The general public really believes the PS4 is the must have 8th gen system. What reason exactly? I really don't know. Maybe something to do with Greatness awaiting maybe, or maybe they just gotta have that 1080P/60FPs. Is it the software?

@DrKill09 "currently in the video game industry you see a lot of game designers who are working really hard to make their games seem really cool." This about sums up Western Devs right there. I'd say Miyamoto and Nintendo are very much in-touch.

The fear of giving a game a super high or low score is great these days. Long live the middle ground!
