Some games play better and a controller is more ergonomic with button placement. I'll use a keyboard and mouse for FPS/RTS stuff like that, games that play BETTER with a keyboard and mouse.. but in my experience, games such as the last remnant, devil may cry and prototype, play better with a controller. Also, I have a laptop already, I don't however have a TV so I can't bring my xbox to uni with me to play the games on that (which are bloody expensive too)
Console game support a 360 controller. Using one on a computer is just blasphemy

Not really. Far more enjoyable to play Prototype, for example with a 360 controller than using a load of awkward keyboard buttons that aren't as easily accessible than on a controller. nom nom
If you did an upgrade, reinstall the games. Possible it could have messed some files about. or.. right click their run exe, properties, compatability and run in compatability for vista.
Don't complain, at least yours are nice round numbers! I get games under £7 and games under £4. Something inside me wants it to be £10 and £5... like whenever I see anything with a price ending in .99 I like it though, makes it easier to pick out the good, cheap buys. My debit card hates me for it.

Wut? Had to wait for it to be activated by steam... and cracked. Took like.. the night of the release. but yeah MP has been cracked already so the whole no dedicated servers working against piracy (as a little biproduct) failed.
