Got the black deluxe set along with ZombiU and black pro controller on preorder, plus a basic white set (just in case). I am not going through the hassle of finding a Wii 6 months or so after launch like last time.

As soon as this comes out I will get a 3DS XL. Been waiting for this game to make the jump. (Japan gets a bundle, doubt we will here...)

And are people really concerned about the graphics? In Animal Crossing?

Anyway glad to see all the changes, this is shaping up to be the best AC by far.

Creepy is actually feeling entitled because you consider yourself some sort of special hardcore bro gamer, and anyone that doesn't play video games or plays ones that you don't like can't be part of your made up club. I always wonder how these people who rage on the internet about gaming deal with people in their life who aren't "real" gamers. Surely they cope, but somehow are not capable of having rational discussions on forums with the veil of anonymity.

What about the last 7 years of the current generation? Wii lacked third party support because it couldnt handle games like GTA4, RDR, Mass Effect, Skyrim, Battlefield, Dirt, and hundreds (literally) of other games. WiiU is indeed more open to third party support, but just for 2 or 3 years. What will happen when devs start using Unreal Egine 4, the E3 version of Watch Dogs and Star Wars 1313, etc?

This is not blind hate, man. Gamecube and Wii are the only Nintendo consoles i didnt get. Im still on the fence for the WiiU, though.

I guess we will know more then. I am not that great at predicting things... I think at least 3rd party support will be better on WiiU than Wii. Will it dwindle down in 2 or 3 years? Probably depends on what the install base is at that point and just how big of leap the PS4/NextBox are in power.

Nintendo made lots of money off the Wii and it only had one good game - RE4, a port. Their systems cost next to nothing to make and as long as they sell lots of them they don't care what people on forums like this say.

I may wind up buying a 3DS for Mario Kart and RE: Revelations and not expect anything else. I just want a handhelp to poop with, my gaming is done on my PC. Maybe they'll even make a new Donkey Kong Country game for it.

F-Zero X (N64) and F-Zero GX (GameCube) are more fun than any PC racing sim anyway.;)

But by all means play what you enjoy... I am not sure why you would care if consoles get a "real" racing sim or not.
