I don't think I will be using it much, though it sounds like it is the best option for you. I personally just like to have a physical copy of my games. I like lineing all of my games up to be able to see what I have, I like looking at the different cover arts, manuals, discs, etc. so for me I think I will always stick with buying the actual game.

Also, it may be worth while to kind of research some of the games before you buy them. For example, I've heard rumors of Bioshock being $5 at some stores that have clearanced it and a lot of the titles I have seen are lower on Amazon and stuff than on Xbox Live, so if you want to save some money it may be worth checking into some of the games before you buy them.

I'm looking forward to trying it just so I can try more demos of games and stuff.

Nope, I've never bought anything like that. It just seems kind if silly to spend money on virtual stuff, to me anyway. I have downloaded some clothes and stuff that I won playing games, but never actually bought anything. I would like to have more options, but I just can't see spending money on something, even if it is just a dollar, that I will barely see. Just like the furniture in Home, I think that the house looks really boring and stuff, but since I started playing Home, I've only gone back to my place one or two times, so it would have been a total waste of money.

My reasoning is that if I spend a buck on a hamburger I'll eat and never see it again (at least not in a good way), and I use to eat out a few times but I just stick to cereal and Oatmeal and only use my extra cash for videogames and gas, hardly ever on anything that would perish real quick. Virtual stuff holds more value to me because it doesn't depreciate in quality.

Yeah, I can see that and it is a good point. For me, I just don't think it is worth it. I mean, there are things available to download that I like, but I've never even considered putting actual money towards it, since it is isn't something I would see all that much anyway. I also consider that if I bought several things that I wanted for my character, eventually it wouldn't take too long to spend enough to buy a game (not a good one, but still a game) and I will have a lot more fun with a game than with virtual items for my character.

Honestly, I think I would be a little more likely to buy things like this from Xbox Live than the Playstation Network. Only reason, I would get to see it more. I don't play my Playstation too often and I definitely don't go into home too often, so I would see the items I purchased very rarely. On the other hand, my avatar is seen all the time on the 360, so at least I could get a little more enjoyment out of it.

I'd love to see more games offer items by getting trophies and other goals in a game, for example you get a shirt of that game by reaching a platinum trophy, or something along those lines. Or, even downloadble content just for buying the game, for example, after you play the game the first time you can log onto the Playstation Network and get a shirt or other items that are related to the game.

Yeah, that is definitely pretty funny. I think it is funny that she actually thought you were old enough to drive a car, smoke, drink, gamble, join the military and do just about anything you want (except for joining AARP :P ) but you aren't old enough to buy a game.

I've never bought an M or T rated game from Target, so I've never been carded before. Come to think of it, I can only recall two things I've ever been carded for in my life, that was cough syrup (I had two types of medicine, several bags of cough drops and some cough syrup and they asked to see my ID. At the time I was only 17, so I had to get my brother to buy it, who was also with me. They wouldn't let me ring out on the same order and let him pay for it since they knew it was mine, but it was okay to hand it over to my brother, in front of the cashier, and have him pay for it separatly. Pretty funny if you ask me) and the second time was the other day I was buying Halo 3 and they had to see my ID.

Help Still Not Workingmemberz

If none of the above is helping, the only other thing I can suggest is contacting Microsoft support. You are going to go through the usual run around while they try to understand you and try things you know won't work, but at least they should be able to help. They were surprisingly helpful when I contacted them, though I don't know if they actually helped my issue or not since I wasn't really able to try anything due to my lack of wireless internet.

I've always wanted one, but never bought one. I've found a few I like, but in the end always change my mind. I will probably get some eventually. You would think, being the big Nintendo fan I am, I would have some.

I think they could have charged more for it. I think I would pay more for the Wii than I would for any other console, but then it is also my favorite. I think the main issue is that they would not have sold quite as many if the price were higher. But also, the Wii gets so much bad press the way it is, lack of games, price compared to Xbox, etc. and it would only increase if it were higher in price.

I love the Wii and I think the price is great, so I think Nintendo, in the end, made the best choice. Could they have made more on the system, sure, but I think the price is perfect!

Just about every game made for Wii :D or at least 75% of them.

But my top priorities are:

New Super Mario Bros Wii
Super Mario Galaxy 2
A Boy & His Blob
Klonoa
Ghostbusters The Game
Toy Story Mania
Super Paper Mario
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Chicken Little Ace in Action
Sonic Unleashed
Crash of the Titans
Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz
Nights Journey of Dreams
Mushroom Men
Monsters vs. Aliens
Mercury Meltdown Revolution
Rayman Raving Rabbids
Price Is Right
Agatha Christie:Evil Under the Sun
Boom Blox
EA Playground
Game Party 2
Big Brain Academy
Wii Fit Plus
Drawn to Life The Next Chapter
Little Kings Story

There are many, many more and a couple I'm questioning, but at least for now that is the main list I'm working to completing.

I haven't got to the demo yet, but plan to soon. I think the game looks amazing, but I'm interested in trying it first. I'd love to have a game for the PS3 with such graphics, but at the same time I'm not too sure if it will be my style of game, but it looks like it is going to be really amazing.

I have had problems since getting my Xbox toward the beginning of the month. Sometimes when I would turn the Xbox on I would have picture, but no sound and then sometimes it would work fine. Did some troubleshooting with Microsoft and didn't really come to any conclusions.

The only thing I think may have been the issue was I may not have held the power button down long enough when turning the system on with the controller (I'm used to PS3 and Wii where you just push the button) I've been making sure recently to hold the button down for a good 3 seconds and everything seems to be fine, so hopefully that was the issue and not something else. I'm using HDMI and everything else seems to be fine.

It appears that yours has the issue all the time, so I'm not sure if this would help, but thought I would post in case.
