@MethodManFTW:
GTA V has only microtransactions in the form that you can buy in game cash, which is also very easily obtainable by simply doing heists, missions and stuff. You really don't need to spend a penny to enjoy the game at all.
And ye, the previous batmans were season pass-free games, but the next one will have a 40 dollar season pass.
To begin with, I don't like talking to you, simply because of your annoying, provokative style of "social skills"...
But regardless of that, I'll reply to you simply to keep the conversation going on.
You think as many others, that DLC is an exclusive piece of content that does not harm the main game itself, but that is not the case. Before all this Season Pass mumble bumble we used to get all DLC for free, after that they became stuff you can buy for a few bugs.
But now, they are starting to make cash with it. It's a must-have-thing for any game company, because it makes money. It's a fact.
Grand Thef Auto 5, what about the big update called Heists? Came for free, completely. Just like every other update to the game came for free.
Destiny on the other hand is releasing what is to be called so clear money making no one cannot by see. Same goes for Call of Duty.
Batman series were just fine without Season Pass, but now they're launching the new next generation Batman with Season Pass! Why? To make money!
These are examples. The worst is yet to come and you will see how every game will start using this option.
I'm getting utterly, completely sick of the whole idea of Season Passes. Especially since game companies lately only seem to publish DEMOs for the 70€ that they cost here in Finland and then, if you want the full game you're required to pay 100-130€ for the game.That is sick. And even if the price wasn't that high, I still hate the idea. It's so greedy I cannot even believe anyone has the nerve to be that greedy!
So! I've decided to completely abandon any game not on sale that has season pass. Therefore I'm wondering which games still go by the "here's a game for the gamers, have fun" and not by the "buy this demo and pay us some extra for the full game and later on to actually do something pay for some in game stuff, oh and dont worry before u are even done with paying the full game, we release a new one with even more pay to play stuff!"
Name the games... if there is any in this god forsaken joke of a business
Well, I was told it's hard to find servers and such if you don't have the season pass in CoD and in Battlefield if you don't have the Premium. Is this true?
This is not true for CoD, you'll always find a mach in a matter of seconds. Though it is true for EA games.
Aight cool. I guess I could get the CoD then though hehe

Hi guys.
I've never really been a CoD player, but I enjoy competitive multiplayers, such as CS:GO. However, I want one on my PS4 as well. Now it seems the new CoD got decent reviews and I was considering buying it, until I noticed the price of the Season Pass.
They put out a new CoD every year, and the game costs 60-70€. And the season pass goes for 50€. That's sick.
Is the game really worth that much? And what if you bought the game and not the season pass? How'd that work out?
The whole season pass idea is sickening me and basically any game that uses it has lost a lot of respect from me personally, but if they got for reasonable price (was able to get Watch Dogs season pass for 10€, for instance), I guess I can live with it. But come on, this is ridiculous pricing.
So, please enlighten me, is it worth it? Does it basically grant me another brand new game with the 50€ or is it just bs money milking?
@ewalthour: What the hell?
@ewalthour: There's no option in my city to rent a game and I doubt theres one in my country either, lol, at least I never heard of one. Perhaps there is, but not in my city.
So, I kind of got to go with what I buy. Of course I could return the game I bought to a shop we have here, but that'd make me lose like 50% of the cash I paid for the game, so I prefer to keep all games I buy until they've dusted in the shelf for like years.
Here's the thing. I like Assassin's Creed and it's just that I've maybe played them all through a little too fast. I mean, I guess I've had a little too much of Assassin's Creed. However, I just kind of can't make up my mind with Unity. I like it, but bad reviews? Then again, it seems there's good reviews out as well. I'm not a fanboy who would simply ignore all the flaws, but if there aren't that many flaws really kind of stopping you from enjoying the game overall, then I can find myself enjoying it.
However, I've really never been a COD player, but I'd really like to have one. And Advanced Warfare did get better reviews and people seem to have more fun with it than the few previous COD's, so I was thinking this could be it for me.
Oh and Far Cry 4 seems fun too, but I've only recently begun Far Cry 3, and I'd like to finish that on my PC before I continue to the 4th.
