I'v been so dissapointed in the MAVS they are terrible. I live in Dallas area and i'm tired of them. They lost against D WADE that one year that was so terrible. Then last year they are supposed 2 be best team and lose against that one terrible team with the old coach. I don't even like any of the players on the mavs. DIRK is terrible didn't deserve MVP after how he played in those playoff games. I which we had Nash back he's so much fun 2 watch. Watever MAVS suck. Go Cowboys.lordsettra12

I agree with some of what you said their lordsettra12.

[QUOTE="SegArgyle"][QUOTE="tryfe_lyn"]

first he needs to win a superbowl...then this thread will have some significance...until then it's just pointless...

Cube_of_MooN

marino never won a superbowl

I'm not saying he's a legend but he's having a pretty good start

you people must have only started watching football around 96 cuz your football knowledge isnt very bright

Well Marino threw record setting numbers and was an amazing leader, so despite the lack of a Super Bowl win, he is still a legend. Romo isn't exactly breaking records yet. I think he's too inconsistent to become a legend, as he has shown in the past. Until he really shows us consistency, good numbers, and maybe a Super Bowl, he can't be talked about as being great, let alone a legend.

I agree he has a long way to go before he could be called a legend or even great, but he dose have the most TD passes in a season in Cowboy history though 12 games and if being inconsistent means having 33 TD passes through 12 games then give me inconsistent play all day long.

The Topic should have seen been is Tony Romo a good QB or is he going to keep making the Pro-bowl five years from now. That topic makes much more sense.

If he can put up these kinds of numbers for the next five plus years. Which I think he will, but right now he has a long way to go before he could be called a Legend. He quickly becoming my favorite Dallas Cowboys player on this current team. If that counts for anything.:D

If they get pass the Steelers next week is going to come down to the Giants to beat them the last game of the season. That might happen. The Pats might not have anything to play for has far has the 1 seed gose in the AFC at the point. That might not be the case for the NY Giants who might have to win that game to get into the playoffs.

Seriously. What a joke this is. Illinois should also not be in, but that no 3 team per conference rule blows.Espurs117

I also think Illionis shouldn't made it, but like you said no 3 team per conference rule was in effect. The only other team that could go to Rose Bowl was Arizona State. You can't have two teams from the Pac-10 play vs. one another in a bowl game.

At this point I don't think the Miami Dolphins could beat Ohio State or LSU.

I think that the original poster is wrong to be angry at Wilbon. The thesis of Wilbon's article wasn't to criticize Sean Taylor for his past but a warning to any black kid living in the "hood" that you have to leave the "hood" behind literally and figuratively if you want to succeed. I think that this is an admirable message and one I hope that some people heed in the wake of Taylor's death.

Op in your article you seem to have followed Wilbon's advice, you left D.C. and are now leaving a successful life and most of the people you know who are doing well left the "hood." I only assume that you hail from the "hood" because you talked about you and your friends carrying weapons, that is not something you find in suburbia everyday. I am not mad at Bill Cosby, heck, I think what he is doing is quite admirable. Just because you and I are doing well in life doesn't mean that what he says isn't true for a lot of inner city black kids. The truth of the matter is that black kids are lagging and failing to complete k-12 at a very alarming rate. Coupled with the rise of skilled and technical jobs needed to make a living in the U.S. it is alarming to hear that black kids are failing to equip themselves with the basic knowledge to suceed.

numismatic

I agree with those part's of your post. Sean Taylor knew one of the kids that is now being reported. I think he was trying to reach out to one of the kids and they didn't care. They wanted is stuff in this Miami home and they though he wasn't home. They were wrong and Sean Taylor paid with his life.

Did any of you catch what Charles Barkley had about what happen on ESPN radio a couple of days ago about what happen. He had some good point about being a rich black and famous. He said some black men don't care if you made it they want you money and want to be you.

P.S I have thank you WhoShotMe for your military service. Your doing a good thing for your country.

I'm a Pats fan, but I'm going to have to admit that Dallas is getting better since they played the Pats. If they get Terry Glenn back, and both teams reach the Superbowl in a rematch, its going to be a shootout, but the game will come down to the wire IMO. I'm getting ahead of myself, but this is a good indication where these 2 teams are headed, though anything can happen, but itshould be a good Superbowl if either Packers or Cowboys make it, and the Pats make it :Pwithout any further injuries of course.D3s7rUc71oN

You took the word's out of my month D3s7rUc71oN.
