Good thread for those who are confused about the MGS4 bundles, i saw on the ign comment page that a lot of ppl thought the new bundle was the only one they were gonna release and they were pretty pissed.
I personally love GTA IV, good graphics finally for GTA, gunplay feels alot better and in some way for tactical? dialogue and humour is top notch as usual =D.
hey, Im a huge fan of RTS games and have been very interested in both games and just recently built a computer to handle these games well. However, since i've already spent so much on the computer i dont really wanna spend that much money on gaming for a while so against my own will i can only buy one of these 2 games.
Which one would be a better buy overall? Thanks for your opinions
Regarding the car damage, you may be able to see that in the North American release of the game- a recent interview with Kazunori Yamauchi, the series creator, reveals they are getting close to putting it all there. The problem isn't Sony or Polyphony, though- it's the car manufacturers not wanting to see their cars wrecked. lyndonAPI
^ that answers ur damage modelling rant. As for gameplay... i dont really see how they would change that up, most racing games pretty much have the same controls and this is a driving sim not arcade so we wont have a boost button =(. Would you prefer to drive with just a six-axis motion sensing instead?
i would go with GTA IV, seeing as though the last installments of the game have been loaded to the max with content (ie. incredibly long single player campaign, and the fun of just driving around and killing ppl). Plus GTA IV will now have online multiplayer so the content is now much more than a conventional GTA game. And who knows with this new multiplayer, GTA could be a fun party game like Guitar Hero III.
So I'd say spend that $60 on GTA rather than $100ish on GHIII because you might find yourself playing GTA more than GHIII.
