@chaotic_eden: There are quite a few survival horror games that show that the market for these games are not dying. PT, everyone loved, Condemned is something a lot of people want, Evil Within was a good game while not great but good. Outlast, Soma, and Isolation. Not to mention the kickstarter game We Happy Few and the inevitable new Dead Space game that will eventually come out. The genre isn't dying, I personally am more interested when a promising Survival horror game comes out than when I see some FPS game. I think that there needs to be something done about RE though, maybe some sort of conclusion or more answers revealed. RE Revelations 2 was a good step in bringing back some of the horror elements from 4.
@not_a_sheep111: Halo 5, Just Cause 3, Bloodbourne, Tomb Raider, Metal Gear Solid, Rainbow Six Siege and others as well. All great games despite a few flaws with some of them.. I like my 3ds more than the wii u anyways.
@Zombie8814: I agree, QTE aren't a reason to hate the game alone considering they were in 4 and 5. I personally enjoy them and yeah sure the story is kinda eh but I feel that the coop campaign is a great experience. Definitely something I enjoy as I've enjoyed all the other RE's.
@metallinatus: It's all based on opinion. But MGS5, Fallout 4, Halo 5, and a few other games that have been coming out are all pretty excellent titles in my opinion. To each their own
@ultimateimp: I agree on BO3, Fallout and Halo appeal to certain audiences so I can understand that. Definitely check out Bloodbourne's dlc though, From Soft hasn't disappointed me yet on any of their dlcs. The new weapons and bosses look sweet and i've been looking for a reason to get back into the game.
@ultimateimp: Least interesting? Whaaaat. Fallout 4, Halo 5, Bloodbourne dlc, Tomb Raider, Black Ops if thats your sort of thing, and Battlefront which is eh I suppose but worth mentioning. Not to mention Witcher 3 if you haven't played that. I unfortunately am in the process of trying to get into it with all these other games out.
@Vambrotious: I think you should definitely hold onto Halo 5. As someone who entered the franchise from 3, I can see your points, but the game's multiplayer is so good.
Also, Fallout 4 looks wonderful. I think either way you'll be pretty happy.
