Just make the homosexuality option a day 1 free DLC and 99% of the problems are solved in regards to that. The extreme majority of the video game player base does not want homosexual relationships in any game.

People who are homosexual and just go on with their normal everyday lives do not bother me in the least. While I do find it pretty gross and definitely don't feel it's "natural", everyone has certain aspects of their lives that could be seen as abnormal (in public perception). But the overly flamboyant ones who march around like it's some mission to let each and every person know how extremely homosexual they are and make it a point to bring their sexuality to the forefront of every single thing they're associated with, I absolutely hate. They're the same people who then use it as a crutch for anything that goes wrong.

RMAH is there to milk cash. That part is obvious. They felt that enough people made cash of D2 behind their back that with D3 they want a piece of that. While I don't agree with the tactics, I don't blame them for wanting to combat the 3rd party selling. I wish I could find the article about the RMAH, and how Blizz triple dipped into the money you made off it. Also, people need to understand that against the ToS and illegal are not interchangeable terms.

When I think about buying used games, those places like Gamestop are the absolute last places I think of. They're complete ripoffs from both a buying and selling standpoint. I will never understand why anyone uses these retailers. Never again will I even consider selling or buying a used game from one of those establishments. Craigslist, Amazon, and to a lesser extent eBay are all much more solid choices. Yes you do not get the instant results, but to me the savings you get in return far outweigh anything a place like Gamestop can offer. Buying on Craigslist you have to be careful with because well....people are creepy sometimes but Amazon & eBay both have guarantees. Selling on Craigslist is not nearly as bad as buying, as long as you deal in cash only. So really, if the price gouging on these places makes you mad, then take the little bit of time to find a better alternative. For buying I use Amazon almost exclusively. And for selling I've had good luck with both eBay & Craigslist.

With the way the video game industry is shifting, I dont WANT to give them any of my money. The amount of greed in today's industry is just simply out of control. What used to niche community of gamers making games for gamers is now a bunch of Michael Bay wannabes making flashy things do flashy stuff in the hopes of getting us to spend money. I remember a time when developers encouraged second hand buying if you didn't have the money, because they wanted you to experience the game they put so much time and effort into. The games now are so rushed when you buy a game on launch day you're literally paying to be in the open beta of the game. They're all about "eh we'll just release it now for that extra month of shelf life, then we'll patch it on the fly". Anyone remember Fallout: New Vegas when it first came out? I shudder just thinking about it. But now it's just ridiculous. We don't even get games for $60 anymore. We get 75% of a game for $60, with the rest coming as DLC. Then we get the games like Fable 3 who are announcing DLC the same week the game is released. Even better yet, the games that have the DLC already on the disc, but 4 months later "release" it. Games like Dragon Age, Madden, etc that include these one time codes included in new copies are just a blatantly biting the hands that feed them. And then they turn around and have the audacity to blame the gamer for it. Full version of this in my profile as a blog, 1500 word limit was too small.

I know I'm in the minority, but I didn't like Portal 2 at all. Didn't find the humor funny. I'm not a fan of puzzle games. I put about 4 hours into it. I know Valve makes games that a ton of people like so they must be doing things right, but I've honestly never really enjoyed a single game they've ever made, and I've been gaming for 20+ years. So I guess I'll just be the guy that respects Valve for making good games that I never want to play.
