I think the title should more appropriately be named "Gamestop considering buying your vintage games for $3 and selling them for $25".

If this was one of the few games I bought during the year....I would feel bad.

But since it's nowhere near it, I really don't feel bad buying this "roster update".

@oldschoolvandal Well in the early days of used game sales....that's around what they were, 10 bucks. And it wasn't a problem. So now when they're 5X that yeah they're going to be a problem.

@oldschoolvandal Well I've also been buying games with my own money since about 1985. If you think for one second that the used game market today and from "the beginning of time" are anywhere near the same you are crazy. It's not even worth comparing it's so different.

So by an article here on on this site, Gamestop made a reported 9.55 billion dollars last year. 27.4% of that is 3.5 billion dollars they made on used sales alone.

So on used game sales alone, Gamestop made more money than Square Enix, Ubisoft, Capcom, Take 2, THQ, and Konami did creating them.

I really despise the stance the developers take towards the used game sale, but those numbers for Gamestop are a bit silly.

In 9 years when nobody is buying the original Wii anymore, he's gonna be like "See I told you it would fail".

Saying someone "wins" an expo is a bit of a stretch.

Changing a feature that is broken/unpopular/etc is not derailing artistic integrity. Anyone remember when Coca-Cola changed its formula?
