@Uesugi-dono Myself and all my friends had already played Witcher on PC. There was no reason to shell out more money to play it again on my 360. What exactly does 360 replacement rate have to do with it? Star Wars Kinect which is 360 only outsold it also....

So do preorders don't count as sales until a game is actually released? That by itself probably would have made D3 the most popular game of the month.

Regardless, May is going to be huge month for sales just from D3 alone.

They had to put on multiplayer, it's the easiest way to nickel and dime you with the online pass.

The bigger problem with used games is the idiots who buy a game from Gamestop for $60, sell it back to them 3 weeks later for $20 towards a new game, and then watch Gamestop put their used game back on the shelf for $55. Places like Gamestop double and sometimes triple dipping into a sale of a single video game IS a problem. The video game industry needs to find a way to stomp out that practice, without completely hosing the consumers in the process.

If everyone just stopped buying all DLC crap these companies spew out, then yeah it would slow down. But for that to happen, you'd have to convince teenagers and young adults to be responsible with their money, which frankly is not going to happen on a large enough scale to be effective.

I love how according to the author of this article only the people who are part of the petition hated the ending in ME3. If everyone who finished the game rated the ending on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the best, it would probably fall somewhere in the 2 range. PS this article sucks.
