Of course it will "coincidentally" end on the same day as the Xbox reveal. It's not like he can't manipulate the layers coming on and off behind the scenes to guarantee when it's all over.
@LazyyAmerican The way it sounds to me is the bill being introduced would target arcade cabinets, live demos, and things of that nature. The game could be sold at Wal-Mart or anywhere else, but it wouldn't be connected to a tv in the electronics dept. so a minor could walk up and play it. And arcades (if any are still around) would be severely crippled by this.
@doktron Completely agree here, we need more solid singleplayer games. And not just in quality and fun, how about they make a campaign longer than 4-5 hours?!
When I first saw the game "DLC Quest" I chuckled and didn't think much of it. This news seems like an ominous sign that the developers of DLC Quest might have seen what was coming before the rest of us.
@flammable_zeus @nu1mlock I'm not so sure it's only new copies. I just checked my game library and I don't currently have an "install" button for Vice City. ???
Of course he says there won't be a price cut, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. Whether it's planned for the holiday sales window or not, why on Earth would they announce it now? They would just be taking $ out of their own pockets due to people waiting until the price drop instead of buying one now.
