Something different, galaxy's theme ran its course and MG2 didnt have that new feeling like the first did so a 3rd time would just be super redundant. I think its time mario travels to different dimensions, or different times, id like to see it return to big levels you explore like SM64. Larger levels you become more familiar with are always much more memorable for me than straightforward linear stages.

Its pretty much the cycle most series go through now it seems. The fans will hate the newest and find the most niche in the series to love and praise instead while looking to bash the popular one whenever they get the chance, and when the next one comes around it repeats itself. Its a shame most just cant enjoy each for what they are and what they brought to the series.

[QUOTE="Heirren"]Doesn't nintendo own a piece of the rare games, anyways?SepewrathThey sold everything they had to do with Rare to MS, they simply retained all the stuff Rare made with Nintendo characters. Anyway, no one would pay for Rare's franchises. They have nothing of value, the FPS genre is over saturated and completely dominated by a few franchises. The fighting genre and platforming genre aren't what they used to be, so there is really nothing to be gained from those franchises.
^this easily. There is really nothing for them to gain out of getting those franchises back at this point.
