Pretty sure I can still play the disc based PS1 games I bought 20 years ago and even make backups of them and I dont hear Sony or anyone coming after me, nor do the discs "delist" themselves lol.
I physically OWN the discs. There's nothing the publishers can do to take that away from me. So as far as I'm concerned yes I own the game because I can still PLAY it.
You dont physically OWN digital media and it can be delisted from you even if you bought it (just look at Sega's Afterburner Climax and Outrun 2 on PSN or numerous games on iOS/Android)

If you havent learned to sneak around Konami HQ via crawling or in a cardboard box then its your own fault
