@KungfuKitten Ease of use? Nintendo account is a mess and ClubNintendo is crap. No cross buy, virtual console is bleak, region lock, and lack of SNES, GBA games on the 3DS. Plus the name is awful.....Wii U?? Why?? It's not a Wii.

They probably lost a crapton of potential sales because all the super casual soccer moms were like "Wii U?" whats that? I already have a Wii."

@kingofseattle00 @Digital_DJ_00 @jophy It's called universal appeal. FF VII is the holy grail of FF games because it has the most widely agreed universal appeal. So much so that even Square-Enix acknowledges it. They know it's the standard to measure other FF games on, which is why they dare not remake it because it'll either be worse, or if its amazing, then they have nowhere to go from there. It's their last resort ace card. They themselves stated already that they'd prefer to make a new FF game that can 'beat' it in no just monetary success, but overall majority of opinion appeal, which is something that FF VII still holds the crown to.

@dragonherderx I think the shooters only friend was his mom and when she told him she was going to have him committed he snapped.

Same thing with a friend of mine who killed herself a few years ago. She got married, moved far away from friends and family and only had him. Then he cheated on her, they separated and she felt like she had no one so she killed herself. This shooter guy though had mental issues as a child manifesting over the years due to bad parenting and his demon's being exercised by way of being anti social and drawn in and also his violent tendencies through the use of shooting guns with his mom (one of probably his only outlets besides the games) when all of that was threatened to be taken away by his one true 'friend' (mom), he snapped.
