That said, for those who played it, what did you think of it?

If I played TR2013, am I missing out on anything?

Personaly I prefered TR2013 more darker tone. This new one felt more "light hearted". Saying this, its still a pretty good game but suffers from many "open world" issued we see today as fetch quests and whatnot. The crafting system is alright but definitely just a gimmicky. I think the game would be better without it. So, if you played TR2013 you would be missing a good sequel, nothing more than that.

Could I skip it and just play Uncharted 4/Lost Legacy instead?

I prefer U4 pacing, combat and as an overall game. But there are still some fundamental changes between the games. The biggest one is the lack of scenery variety in RotTR. If you dont want to be on a game where all you'll see are snowy environments then dont bother. What I liked about the old TR games were the fact you traveled around the world through different exotic locations, something the new TR games fail to do since they focus on ONE big "open world" map. Uncharted 4 is better in that regard.

Could I play it and just enjoy the graphics?

I think yes, its a pretty good looking game but, as I've said before, prepare to see many snowy environments.

Thoughts about how you felt while playing it are much appreciated.

The game was good fun cause I like these types of archeological adventure games. I still miss the old TR games but these new ones arent bad. If you like these types of games you cant go wrong by playing both U4 and RotTR

My takes on bold ^^^

Cheers dude!

Nah, I don't support Barca (long-suffering Arsenal fan here). I just really don't like Real Madrid. I look at their "Galacticos" schtick and think; "Beverly Hills." Real Madrid are the Beverly Hills of football, and that's quite an achievement.

And Ronaldo is an arrogant narcissist, and not even in an awesomely hilarious way like Ibrahimovic. Plus, he played for Man United - the other club I really don't like.

Arsenal fan too here. By any chance, are you like a new fan or something? Arsenal have no beef with Real Madrid... because we hardly play them. In fact we have an amazing relationship with them: the best being the part where they took Gareth Bale from the scum and they gave us Mesut Ozil. They keep taking Tottenham's best players and will probably take Dele Alli and Harry Kane. Real Madrid is a true bro in that way.

It's Barca that fucking sucks. Steal Fabregas and tap up Bellerin. shitbags.

Anyway, Ronaldo, an arrogant narcissist? Actually, no. Not at all.

He's arrogant as hell as a footballer, and has every reason to be. But off the pitch he is super, incredibly humble. I wouldn't even call him a nice guy, because "nice guys" are superficially chill, but could probably be massive dickheads behind closed doors (like when Thibaut Courtois cheated with Kevin de Bruyne's girlfriend. You wouldn't think a million years that that nice enough looking dork would do such a thing... and that's coz Kev cheated on that girl with someone else). Ronaldo, from what I've seen in his (really boring) documentary and many off-the-pitch interviews and videos, seems like a genuinely good guy.

Hey guys,

Just wanting to know what you thought of Rise of the Tomb Raider. I'm not looking for a "It's a few pennies so get it." Time is more important to me than money.

That said, for those who played it, what did you think of it?

If I played TR2013, am I missing out on anything?

"Do true hermits exist anymore?"

A lot of them lost their virginity in the last few years, so no.

*sigh

yet another "why is Destiny so popular" thread in disguise...

Dudes, enough is enough. If you dont like Destiny, fine. Now let those who do, enjoy it for what it is

Ever seen a girl bitch about another girl who seems to get all the attention?

One of those moments, bud.

@NathanDrakeSwag: Honestly the more geekophobic I get the more I'm attracted to games with lots of casual dudebros.

So thanks guys for sticking to your aspergers-friendly single player games and not buying Destiny 2.

You're welcome. Now you're free to engage knuckle-headed frat boys 24/7. Good luck in finding a challenge somewhere in there.

I've always wanted to play a video game while a very pretty girl tries to tempt me away from it.

I want it to happen during a Destiny 2 raid. So yeah, there's the challenge right there lol.

Who do you think you're talking to? I'm the biggest GTA Online fanboy on this forum. Destiny just fvcking sucks. I wouldn't even call its fanbase dudebros. More like nerds into really bad sci fi writing.

I'm talking to a guy that has "swag" after the name Nathan Drake.

dudebros, casuals... I dunno if those names are synonymous. Basically, just the masses of people which hardcore gamers dislike for some reason. I find them more chill because they don't take the game seriously.

Furthermore, I think hardcore gamers can't understand the casuals' obsession with Destiny because it's not a video game as a hobby, but a hobby as a video game. Destiny 2 is apparently just a better version of that hobby.

Meh, I don't want to invest so much time into Destiny 2, but I'll do it for friends. They better do something for me in return though.
