@Kronblom71 @Freedomination @carolino What i meant is if you find combat to be mainly just something you have to suffer through to get to the parts of the game you enjoy you probably dont want to use 40 minutes trying to figure out a bossfight.
Big games try to cater to both those who find the combat to be the most important part and those who don't. And they most often do it through difficulty. Problem is that when people who want the combat to take centre stage try games on Normal they will often feel that the combat is shallow because they dont really need to use all the abilities to progress.
Vampire was great, but better combat would still have made it a better game for me
As you say its just opinions. but games like this try to please people with both opinions as they can't really be successful by apealing to only half the RPG players.
And i really need to learn to make my points briefer
@carolino @Kronblom71 I agree, but people play games for different reasons. If they've made the game correctly Kronblom will find his game on a lower difficulty and carolino on a higher one though
@warriors30 @DLuf @Freedomination @carolino @kalarro In reality most are playing thiefs in all RPGs no matter what their class says. Let no cupboard go unemptied!
@warriors30 @carolino @DLuf @kalarro Hehe.. But Gandalf had the fallback option of just stabbing the Balrog to death when magic didnt work. Some might start complaining if that kind of wizard starts showing up in games
@journeybzdurney You forgot the part where he said ".. on medium difficulty". Without knowing for sure i'll guess that it follows the usual difficulty settings these days.
Easy: Absolutely impossible to die unless your trying. For people who just want to see the story.
Medium: For people who know how to play this kind of games, but find any deaths hugely frustrating.
Hard: For people like you and me who actually thinks these types of games get better when you have to use most of the abilities at your disposal to progress.
And eventually some form of Impossible: For people who dont mind the game being so hard you often have to exploit the AI to win
Used to love the epic trumpet track in the original f-zero mute city. Was interesting to hear this version. Not sure i like it as much, but i guess the crazy chaotic mood suits mario kart better
@ziseknsa So in general IGN scores games higher than gamespot. Shocking.
The way you put the two games where gamespot scored above average on top of the Xbox list almost makes it seem like your trying to prove something to people who dont read entire lists though...
