@GregoryBastards @Mariner32 Played through 13 it was ok, but it seems hard to convince alot of people that there exists such a thing as middle ground between great and trash.
It was still disapointing for a few reasons though. The linear way it was structured seems to be gone from the next game, but i would be pleasently surprised if the story was better and they didn't have a few insanely annoying characters in the next one as well
@Aldarish I loved the airships as well, But the world would have to be very big for it to make sense after they stopped doing the world map travel thing.
The best thing about the airships for me though was the feeling of freedom they gave. When you got acces to an airship and took to the skies accompanied by some optimistic trumpet music knowing you finally could explore the entire world with (almost) no borders it was just a great feeling. They might be able to get some of that with the car as well.
@Liliroots @jenovaschilld @doquangminh @ishsgames No OS updates? I guess you spoke the truth when you said you have no interest in consoles :D
If Microsoft had any sense though they would have made the x-box directly compatible with windows though. Developers could just have coded games for windows with a standard system spec they knew they had to optimize for. Enable the graphics settings for the pc-users.
Im a pc user personally but if i could actually just plug in a mouse and keyboard and play strategy games on it i would jump at the chance to buy a reasonably priced system that i knew games would be optimized and tested for at least for the next 5 years
@Gelugon_baat @CommandoAgent Steam reviews are fast to write and require little thought. I can write one after playin a game for 10 minutes. 11/10 would review again
Not a big fan of assasins creed series, but they do make wonderful game worlds. Considering they're so fond of history i wish they would have just made some games that felt at home in it instead of tieing everything together with a fantasy story about secret assasin societies, conspiracies and magic. But then they might have had to make game mechanics other than auto-platforming and super easy fighting (and an endless amount of collectibles of varying importance)
@Gelugon_baat I really wish game writers would let that trope rest for a while. Its just fantasy cliche number one at this point. Everytime i start playing a fantasy game it feels like its just a matter of time before the word "prophecy" pops up to assure me that i won't be unpleasently surprised by something unsettling like a story that i haven't heard a million times
