I still remember the day my dad bought me the cassette tape when I was 11. We put it in his car tape deck, which immediately ate it. I was so distraught that he drove back and bought another pizza to get another tape. It’s easily one of the most cherished memories from my childhood.

I know that this could hypothetically happen to any game in the current market, but why, with all of the complete shit franchises now spitting out sequels, did it have to happen to Mass Effect? Life is so unfair.

The New Order is one of the best games to actually be released in the past 10 years, and most of it has to do with its antagonists. Since the premiere, I've been replaying W:TNO and W:TOB to remind myself what I remembered as loving from my first play through. Frau Engle (sp?) was a great character; A Nazi cougar with a penchant for self-exultation. One of the most satisfying scenes in TNO was watching her face get crushed by one of her celebrated "wunder-machines" (especially after the scene on the train with Bubi). In light of my love for her as a great "Hateable-Nazi" I still hold out hope that while she is a good way to reassure the established fan-base that, "Yes, don't worry, we are bringing back your beloved cast of characters!" that this is a new game. If she is appears in the very first demo of the new game, she is very likely not the main antagonist. While I don't think I can reasonably hold out hope that they will, finally, bring Der Fuhrer out to play, I do believe some vaguely historically accurate Nazi will pop up and replace Engle as the new Nazi to hate. But still... I can dream of destroying a Mecha-Hitler, can't I? Come on Machingames. Don't deny me my MechaHitler.

From the end of the original game: "After a long battle, the absolute incarnation of evil, Adolf Hilter, lie at B.J.'s feet in a pool of his own blood. His wrinkled, crimson-splattered visage still strains, a jagged-toothed rictus trying to cry out. Insane even in 'death'. B.J's lips pinched in bitter victory, he kicked his head off his remains and spit on his corpse. "Sieg heil ... huh. Sieg hell."

Oh, I get it! You let ME languish and come out completely broken so you could move the resources over to a new IP. Who needs an established fan base, right? Got it!

Just noticed the first detritus / baby "object" in the trailer is the mandrake baby from Pan's Labyrinth (bottom-left corner or the vid).

So, it's another year, another E3, and another disappointment from EA. They spent considerably more time talking about the BF1 livestream than they gave to the entire Mass Effect presentation. "We're excited to share more details with you in the coming months." **** you, EA. **** you, Bioware.

Correction--As it is for XBOX360 and PC, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is available for PS3 at a reduced price. The platform listing on the entry is incorrect. Please correct immediately. Do it. Do it now!
