No Manning went to jail. Not a free pass.
Went to jail, for only 7 out of a sentence of 35 years
That is what you call a free pass.
Maybe you missed the part about her being placed in solitary confinement without cause and required to sleep in her underwear for eight months. All before her trial.
This individual chose to go into solitary confinement you mean.
And it´s a jail, not a vacation home on Hawaii.
Not to mention that this person, decided to release hundreds of thousands of documents with complete carelessness and without vetting them first.
Lies. She was put there, she was told, because they thought she would kill herself--which was not true.
The UN actually spoke up about her treatment when it was revealed, calling it torture-like. Meanwhile, President Obama defended her treatment there.
The planet where he gave a free pass to that Manning guy
But nice try,

Hard to feel sorry for him, honestly.
He is a scam artist, and all this is a play to his fanbase.
If he would have gone to Sweden 6 years ago, he would have been a free man today, especially with Obama as president.
Now his chances are much smaller with Trump since there is not the same love for traitors as during the Obama regime.
Are you suggesting Obama was "light" on prosecuting leakers? What planet are you living on?

He She served 7 years in prison, all of which during Obama's presidency. Hardly a free pass.
And President Obama used the Espionage Act of 1917 to prosecute 7 individuals for charges related to leaking. Those seven prosecutions are more than all other Presidents combined in the nearly-100 year history the Espionage Act has been in effect.

I drank a bottle of record cleaning fluid when I was a kid. Some of those have denatured isopropyl alcohol, but the one I drank was just purified water.
Oh and I frequently eat ass.
One of my favorite interactive experiences ever. It had the atmosphere of a detective novel, and the writing felt real.
Allthough there are a lot less people here that are interested in guns, but you could say the same about baseball and hockey, soccer is the sport here.
Guns are interesting to me for the same reason that architecture is: there's a functionality and an artistic perspective to firearm design. I'm sure there are a lot of people who are interested in architecture no?
