@itchyflop: It's better for all of gaming community if Konami dies out or its board is changed completely. Considering they are money whor*s the latter is impossible. So die it is.

Please please please still make it and name it something like Quiet Mountains or something to have nothing to do Konami. I absolutely do not care about Silent Hill IP anymore as a hardcore SH fan. Top 4 games of all time are Silent Hill 1-2-3-4 to me and I'm still saying I don't care about it. Konami killed SH years ago.

Just create a new IP and make sure to show it's successor of SH. It'll make all SH fans happier and I'm sure they'll follow it.

@UnbornCorpser: The fact is they are copying a teaser, a tiny "game" that was supposed to be nothing more than a promotional piece. That's how creative they are. That's a fact. My opinion is that's weak.

Problem is not they copied something, it's that they copied the wrong part of the game. This shows they didn't even understand why PT was good just like the audience of it. Audience don't need to understand why PT is good, but developers should.

They didn't take the "concept" from PT neither. PT's concept is revealing Silent Hills through a scary mind game. Only things they took from PT are a similar looking small detailed environment and existence of ghosts. Something that's been done hundreds of times.

Only thing going for Allison Road is how similar it looks to PT. That's why it isn't promising.

@UnbornCorpser: There is copying and there is copying. If they copied HOW PT did things, I'd be all for it. What they did is directly copying WHAT PT did. This is pitiful in my opinion.

Also let's not forget Silent Hills is not an extended PT. PT level was not even in Silent Hills according to what developers told. It was a small taste of what's to come.

That's why this game feels absurd. PT is not about an apartment and some ghosts. It's about delivering a message for Silent Hills. Creating a game solely based on PT is just weak.

It's funny how people seem to think putting some ghosts and locked doors into an empty apartment makes a great horror game like Silent Hills PT.

I have zero expectations for this game. Absolutely zero, because they have no reason to copy PT. If they were capable of doing any good horror game comparable to PT, they'd make something original and still effective instead of directly copying PT.

I suggest you to not buy into the hype and actually wait to see how good this games ends up being. Right now only thing going for them is PT hype, nothing more.

Respect to Colbert! He actually did a proper interview without any of those false gaming culture clichés on TV. None of those "nerd" or "games are for kids and jobless people" bull.

Mass Effect 2. One of the most memorable openings I've seen and I've seen a lot. It was really beautiful, emotional, and exciting at the same time.

@Atzenkiller @DuaMn Like I said, complete version always includes everything in SF4 series, but there is also a regular version without DLCs. There is a price difference of course, so at the end you're paying for the DLCs in any case.

@Atzenkiller @DuaMn If you pay for a DLC, you get to keep it independent of the version.

Also these DLCs are not a vital part of the game (actually they are literally worthless gameplay-wise) and having them is optional. There always were complete packs that include all the costumes in all version too. So I don't see your point.

If you really believe your game experience will be inferior just because you don't have some visual extra 1% part of the game, maybe you are better off not playing it.
