Dunno what's more sad... Alex's article title, or the fact that it took 13 years for Nintendo to finally release a 2D Metroid, only for it to not only be a remake, but part of its development outsourced.
I think I'll go with the former.
On topic: that IS a cool reversible cover, though.
@nefphlegm: It really is great, start to finish. Simple plot, but one of the best from the 16-bit era. It honestly trumps Chrono Trigger, in every way, for me. On that note, I'd love to see Trigger and Evermore remade like this. o-o
But yeah, the co-op is a ton of fun in this game. I still remember always wanting an open world RPG, in the early 90s, and only knowing of Zelda 3 - which was open world, but no RPG elements. Then a friend introduced me to this, and I've played it every which way I can - 1 player, 2, full team of 3. Its just a blast any way you play it.
@Celiria_Rose: Well, all the screens and video we've seen thus far are one to one. What I meant is more that the gameplay aspect of the game won't be altered, or worse experimented with like with Legend, Heroes or Dawn of Mana. *shudders*
The entire series is used as a guinea pig, following SoM and SD3, the closest thing to being any good was Sword.
That out of the way, SoM is my favorite game of all-time. So, as long as this is a one to one remake, no new bells n' whistles to screw it up, possibly with online co-op, I'm sold. Hell, even if it isn't, it not being Dawn of Mana nor a Mobile game has me sold.
Either way, Secret of Mana is one of my absolute favorite titles so this is a real treat. :)
Definitely have to disagree. This movie was awesome. Sure, it was just a gender swapped Thor movie, but it worked so well.
Not to mention, it was finally nice to see a superb DC movie. You can't see a bad Marvel movie, and even at their worst, they're better than DC's best, but Wonder Woman finally changed that. Sure, Justice League is going to suck, because DC has no continuity with their films, let alone any good ones leading up to it aside from WW, but this movie was great - no two ways about it.
Seems like the only games with Assassin's Creed themed stuff worth playing aren't Assassin's Creed games. Looks neat, though, and I love the continued support for this awesome game.
