This guy is being a bit of a drama queen isn't he lol That game doesn't have anything to do with his so why is he so depressed? I understand it might tarnish his product when people get the two confused but seriously dude bring it down a notch. Also I guess reading comprehension isn't taught in school anymore since quite a few morons can't quite seem to comprehend that this guy didn't have anything to do with WAR Z and he's the dev on the ArmA 2 mod (stand alone game soon enough) DAY Z. I haven't played either, I just read the article and I managed to figure that out.
@Chaos_Dante_456 @mrsniper83 DQ8 still looks fantastic, besides some jaggies, the graphics style has barely aged at all. They could do an HD remake of that game with ease if they wanted to. Just render it in 720/1080p with some AA and it would look almost as good, aesthetically speaking, as anything released now. Wind Waker is another one that still looks fantastic, heck it's aged better then Twilight Princess.
@Spartan_418 Or just use something like PCSX2 on the PC using your original PS2 disks. Better visually and the PS3 controller isn't hard to get working on a PC these days.
@user_pt Download a PCSX2 and just put your PS2 disk in the PC. Connect PS3 controller via MotionJoy. Turn it up to 1080p with AA/AF and Enjoy PS2 games at higher frame rates that look better without wasting time waiting for the PS3 to get patched in shoddy emulation.
@jenovaschilld @Chaos_Dante_456 @spec78 That sucks. I always wondered what happened to it. The 3rd one was a classic beat um up and you got to play as Jean Reno which was, to say the least, pretty awesome lol
More hours went into my PS2 then all the consoles of this gen combined. Mainly because I had far more free time but I also just enjoyed games more back then. DQ8, DMC1/3, Onimusha series, Jak and Daxter, Sly cooper, Dark cloud1/2 and just to many great games to name. Up until a few years ago you would still see the PS2 outsell the newer systems on occasion lol crazy stuff.
