Let's look on the bright side. Microsoft ****ed up so bad, they'll have about six more years to get it right for next time! If they even bother to listen that is.

If current reports are "inaccurate and incomplete" then tell Don Mattrick and Phil Harrison to stop giving "inaccurate and incomplete" answers during interviews. Better yet, keep your mouths shut altogether until you have decided 100% on how this console will work.

Either give us a reason to love you or a reason to hate you.

Once EA abolishes all of their DRM like CD Projekt Red, then and ONLY then will I believe they actually care about their customers and not just whats in their wallets.

While this action may have been influenced by customer feedback, something tells me that was actually only a very small part of it. They've never cared before, why start now?

What do they have in store to replace this?

I remember when cloud gaming was for saved games. You saved your game, uploaded to the server, and then if you played your game on another PC you could download that save from your account's cloud storage and continue on your merry way.

It used to be a feature of convenience for the gamer. Now it's just another thing to get between us and the game. (See the new Sim City's track record if you don't believe that.)

@deathstream Consoles it seems are a lot like laptops. They take all of the components and fit them into a self-contained package. This is nothing new. PS3 and Xbox 360 did the same thing.

The consoles have their Pros and Cons but they are in no way ahead of PCs in terms of power, components, or the way they are built.

A Generation ahead of the highest-End PC? There are two reasons this is outright false and I'd be happy to explain why.

1. PCs do not have generations. You can upgrade or downgrade hardware for better overall performance at ANY time.

2. The Gaming PC I built four years ago actually has better hardware (More processing power, a better GPU, more/better/faster RAM, and even more hard drive space) than the Xbox One. Yet another EA executive talking BS.

@stanknuggetz12 Sony did not invent DRM. That began on PCs as a way for developers and publishers to (fail to) fight piracy and has now found its way to the console market. It began as region locking on consoles (notorious on the Wii) and has now become what we see today.

Sony had the sense to shoot that idea down a few days ago after seeing how bad Microsoft's version was received.

Microsoft on the other hand continues to be vague and defend it's ideas.

Reminds me about EA/Bioware and their "Artistic Integrity" BS.

If you want to know why you should refuse to purchase an Xbox One in it's current state, please refer to the pastebin article below:

pastebin (dot) com/peuunLJA

It sums up all of the reasons why and gives a source for each. Please, if you don't mind, take a few minutes to read through it and share it with anyone you can if you agree. I WANT this console to be good, but in order for that to happen we have to spread the word that the console is bad in it's current condition. The more people speak up, the more likely Microsoft is to change things for the better.

Thank you for your consideration.

@Sevenstorms Sony is smart to keep their mouths shut now, and they'd be even smarter if they do the exact opposite of what Microsoft has done. Notice how every time Microsoft opens their mouth now they just make it worse. They either say they'll have more info later or speak in cryptic language. They need to make up their minds and stop flip flopping.

1. Used games will not have a fee, but they will require verification. All games are now tied to a singular Xbox live account. If you can't verify, you can't play. Either way, this kills borrowed, lent, or rented games.

2. The Xbox One will not function without the Kinect plugged in and turned on. It is not an optional piece anymore. It's even against the ToS (or is it the privacy statement?) to block the Kinect's View.

3. Xbox will require you to connect to their servers once every 24 hours for verification. You can't connect for some reason? You're blocked from playing even single player games until you can.

4. Indie Developers are being shafted, they can't self publish anymore.

5. Xbox One is not compatible with current headsets.

6. The Kinect IS always listening, how else can it turn on when the system is off by saying "Xbox On."

7. Now, the Kinect is always watching in the sense that anyone on skype could view your webcam, and everyone knows webcams (including the kinect's) can be hacked for remote viewing. It's not necessarily Microsoft you have to worry about spying on you, but everyone else, see?

In your attempts to silence Sony fan boys, you come off as some overly aggressive Microsoft fan boy hell bent on defending the company just because it's a new Xbox. If you truly care about the future of gaming, you should refuse to support the company until they iron out these issues.

No one cares if they add extra features such as the TV crap. It's the WAY they are being implemented that bothers everyone. But what's really taking it's toll are this horrible anti-consumer, pro-publisher business practices. Take a stand. I want the new Xbox as well, but I refuse to purchase it until they hear us and fix this absurd issues.

I advise you do the same, or at least I hope you do.

If you want sources to everything I just said, I'd be more than happy to provide it for you. Take care.

P.S. No one is saying Sony is a better company, only that PS4 is at least a marginally better option at this point. -- Or even a real Gaming PC.
