Platformer: Sonic the Hedgehog

Puzzle: Not sure if Ace Attorney can be called as such, but if not I would give it to Portal as a runner up.

First Person Shooter: Halo (The trilogy. Not 4 or Reach.)

RPG: Elder Scrolls.

Sports: None because I loathe sports games.

Strategy: Civilization.

Fighting Games: The main type of game I play so it's REALLY hard for me to decide this. I would give it to either Mortal Kombat or Blazblue. Most fighting game franchises are awesome though.

ARPG: Torchlight.

I'm very good at arcade games and first person games, but suck at strategy games.... No wonder I like to play Civ V:BNW by myself with bots most of the time. Tried a multiplayer match and got dominated.

If it's DLC that is released DAY 1 and/or it's existence of the DLC is because it was cut from the main game than I have a problem. I also highly dislike DLC that is not priced appropriately such as those $15 map packs that I see on popular shooters. I mean really you can buy an awesome arcade game like Super Meat Boy, Castle Crashers, and even Battle Block theatre on xbl than those stupid map packs. Other than that I really don't mind DLC. I find that they are a way to breathe new life into a game and shouldn't be bashed as much as they are now. Most of the time they can bring back a fading community and sometimes it just overall enhances an already well established foundation the game already has. My issue with people brushing off DLC is when you have to pay for it when you don't have to. Most DLC's are often made after the games creation and don't really warrant a purchase if you don't want it. Don't like it don't buy it's that simple. What I also hate is how people have these ideas that some companies are greedy bastards for charging additional content when games like TF2 get additional content for free. Well yeah if my company was the one that made steam and had games like TF2 that practically made money off itself (lol digital wedding rings for tons of cash.), I wouldn't really worry about pricing my Content updates myself. XD These companies that charge money would like some reward for their hard earned work.

Ed Edd n Eddy was good, but it's incomparable to Spongebob. It had it's own thing going on that didn't really intersect with Spongebobs style. I honestly don't like most of the shows that much. I usually take the time to watch them, but the only one that kept me entertained was Adventure time and the Amazing World of Gumball for some odd reason. Regular Show was fell flat for me, Chowder was alright but the comedy was stretched thin most of the time, and FlapJack was......eh.

I was more into cartoons and animated shows that had moments of seriousness while also being light hearted and silly at times as well. Shows like Samurai Jack, Teen Titans(and no not that Teen Toddler **** that's on now.), Kids Next Door, and Ben 10 ( both Original season before he grew up and afterwards). Some other cartoons like the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Johnny Bravo, and Courage the Cowardly Dog had the right type of comedy for me. Not alot today really gets me the same way as the shows back then. :(

DFO(Dungeon Fighter Online) was my addiction back in the days when it was open beta going into release. I would play that game religiously and was one of the first PC games in a long time I dedicated a lot of time into. Everything about this game was mind blowing to me in how it was different than a typical MMO. The beat'em up Style 2d fighting was always face paced and flashy, PvP was actually exciting and always refreshing to just watch. I had fun following the storyline, the lore, and seeing the visuals in some of the areas. It was everything I wanted in a MMO. So what happened? Well Nexon happened. Over time it seemed like they couldn't find a way to spawn good events or release updates fast enough to get the players attention. Over time people left due to huge amounts of hackers and gold buyers that emerged into the game and Nexon didn't do a thing about it. There were many times such as the Priest Patch and the Thief release where they could have gotten the playerbase plus a lot more back, but it seemed as though the only games Nexon knew how to advertise well was MapleStory, Mabinogi, or their new game Vindictus. By the time they reworked their employees and got their game face on it was too late. Too many players left and the ones remaining were a small bunch. They closed it on June 13,2013. :( ;(
