i think i could be good at fps but not fast ones like the bogus quake. i think i could be good at sports games but not all at that. generally it seems i cannot handle much speed. i think i can be quiet good in rpgs as its my favorite genre but i am not a completion or perfectionist yet and i often tend to ignore ultimate weapons and quests. i am good at metal gear type games which are like adventure genre. also lara croft i guess. i am also good at fighting games, i love two player games combined or versus but my brother has quit gaming for some time and he is my only partner. i am average but can be considered good at driving games, like in gt series i can easily get silver. but not gold. overall if i am put in one of those cyber game tournaments i would choose sports over fps and if rpgs are allowed then certainly that. no matter what is the battle system i always tend to get the power level advantage over enemies. for e.g. i came over the barrier of ff8 junctions (which i am replaying in day time) by simply drawing about 100 spells within a single battle, its really fast and easy then what most people think.

If I get dethroned in DiRT 3's Trailblaisers then I'l kill myself.

and How can you master an RPG ? Doesn't character progression complicate that ?

I like to think I'm about as expert as it gets at Arkham City combat and games with similar combat systems. I like punching the crap out of badguys, so I always put a lot of effort into learning the ins and outs of each system so as to more effectively lay the smackdown on the baddies.

I seem to be best at strategy, turn based and rpg games. I guess since they are my favorites and I spend the most time with them.

I think I am best at strategy games and RPGs. Though I guess I am also kinda skilled at racing games like F-Zero. Though not exactly a master at it. I beat the story mode in GX on Normal, but I can't do any better then that.

Seriously Guys ! How can you master an RPG ? You upgrade/level up your character/weapons then you simply beat everybody weaker than you, the concept is flawed, it can't be mastered.

Just by being good at the game. Some people are actually able to beat Final Fantasy X without using the sphere grid. That takes skill.

How is that even possible? Your stats don't even increase without using the sphere grid, do they?

I'm not really sure. But I saw guides titled "No sphere grid challenge" on gamefaqs.

Oh, Thank You.

anyway, not using that thing causes more tedium than actualy difficulty, it turns every encounter into an endurance battle that simply consists of exploiting/spamming a single strategy. Its a Power Struggle, all RPG's are.

I'm very good at arcade games and first person games, but suck at strategy games.... No wonder I like to play Civ V:BNW by myself with bots most of the time. Tried a multiplayer match and got dominated.

Don't really consider myself a master at anything... although I'd say the genre I'm most skilled in would probably have to be FPS, mainly because I've played so many this gen.

No mastery here.  I would say I'm above average as a whole, but haven't mastered any genre.  I tend to do my best at action games, I'd guess. Â
