Assuming it's based on an existing franchise and not an original IP, fingers crossed on a new Splinter Cell, but only if they wise up and get rid of Sam FIsher's character (or at least place him as a support character and bring back Ironside to voice him again.) Blacklist was solid, but his new voice and appearance just ruined the game for me.
I'm more hopeful that it's Beyond Good & Evil 2, but it's technically already announced, so I doubt it'll be that. Lastly, could be a new Prince of Persia. The last one was crap, but a rebooted take on the series or even a continuation of the standalone of the 2007 Cel-Shaded PoP (which was awesome) would be welcome and a nice change from this awful Assassin's Creed kick they've been on.
They had my attention and lost it the moment they mentioned it was a Multiplayer shooter. We don't need another goddamn multiplayer spam-fest. We need more single-player experiences. I would love to see a large, luscious WWII-era environment that allows us to relive all of the most famous moments in the battle. Just imagining being able to experience the Battle for Hill 400, Storming Normandy, Crossing the Rhine, etc... with modern immersion and gameplay mechanics would be amazing.
Soooooo... It's Temple Run with Tron graphics? That's fucking stupid. You can keep that shit. I'm still waiting for my reboot or successor to Tron 2.0: Killer App. THAT'S what a Tron game should be.
Definitely looking forward to this, though I'll probably end up waiting for the last piece to be revealed. I have no interest in Endurance Mode, but if the last DLC is story-based as well, I might get the season pass to get both DLC for cheap, otherwise I'll probably just wait for a sale on this one.
Eh. Already own a copy on my original Xbox and digitally on my 360. Would be nice to get an Updated Anniversary version of the game, but honestly with an art-style like it has, there's probably not a lot that they could do to clean it up graphically. Anti-Aliasing and crisp HD visuals, but it wouldn't benefit from a graphical update like Halo and Fable did. Wouldn't mind having achievements for the game though :D
Well of course. The PS4 community didn't get any exclusives this holiday season nor has it received more than a couple worthwhile exclusives to play yet as of it's 2013 release. It's users have nothing better to do than use it to watch porn or let it sit as a paperweight right now.
Well it's Infinity Ward, so it is undoubtedly ANOTHER Call of Duty game, so no, we shouldn't expect anything incredible out of them for 2016. CoD is a piece of garbage over-milked franchise and hasn't been good since the Call of Duty 2 launch title for the 360.
What... They took a gorgeous stylized Anime like GitS:SAC and turned it into a generic FPS Shooter? That's the worst idea I've heard in a long line of bad ideas lately. Keep the FPS gameplay if you must, but GitS was a crime-solving show. It needs to be a single-player experience less focused on shooting everything that moves and more on dialog and narrative. Shit, lets get the Deus Ex guys behind a GitS game. That's series is pretty much the game form of the anime at this point. It would be easy to adapt the GitS world to that gameplay style.
As somebody who missed this series in the beginning, I've been meaning to ask this. System Shock 2 has always been considered wildly more popular and successful and I definitely intend to play it sometime in the next few weeks (already bought it on GOG.) That being the case, is it recommended that I play the original first or does System Shock 2 stand on its own? If I can, I would rather play SS2 now and wait out the remake for the first one, but if that's not the case, I'll go grab the original now.
