Not a single game on this list that I'm interested in that I haven't already played or don't own on another platform. Really a shame since I would love to get my hands on some more PS and PS2 classics, but everything worthwhile already seems to be available to own permanently on my PS3.

The only thing I really call BS on here is over-delivering on value. Despite the Xbox 360 being the best home console last generation, it's final few years were blatantly lackluster with an over-reliance on core IP franchises and pushing the Kinect, both issues that carried over with the Xbox One into its new life. Despite the changes Microsoft has made since the incident with Don Mattrick, the damage was still done and the Xbox One still suffers because of it and although I think it's a fantastic console and, for me, a far more enjoyable platform than the PS4, it's definitely stuck fighting an uphill battle. It's not going to surpass the PS4 financially, but at this point it shouldn't be trying to. It needs to be winning back the trust and support that it lost and working on fixing the issues that the Xbox brand has presented over the last few years. New IPs, better launch dispersal, more console support, and more giving the fans what they want (within reason) instead of trying to tell us what they think we want.

@jyml8582: That depends on what kind of success you're referring to. Financially, it came up a bit short, but in terms of review the Riddick franchise managed to create an absolutely fantastic tie-in game as well.

Shepard was an interesting character, for sure, but players ultimately built him/her off of their own decisions, so there's no reason why we couldn't do the same with a new character. The only thing changing is the voice actors that will portray the character.

Personally, though, Mass Effect has never been so much about Shepard as it is just the vast amount of detail that's been put into the universe. All of the different star clusters and planets and cities and unique alien species that were there to be studied and experienced was exciting. Mass Effect has a universe as large and as potentially rich as Star Wars and Halo, so I see no reason why we should limit the series to being a trio of games following a single character or crew.

Looks awesome. Still wish they would give us an official Halo-Style Anniversary edition of the game with modern graphics laid out over the classic, though with a game like this that might be trickier to pull off. Might be better with a Rise of the Triad-style remake instead. Last I checked, it and Shadow Warrior were both really faithful to their predecessors.

Cool. Wouldn't mind an excuse to play Strider, LP3, and Bionic Commando on the cheap. Not much incentive to go any higher than the $1 tier yet, but it is tempting to snag just in case we get some other goodies later this week. I'd love to see RE4 added to the list just so I can own the "definitive" version (I'll have to see if they have any mods to modernize controls on a gamepad so it's not so tank-like.)

Well it's a good thing at least one of the Big 3 is. Nintendo took a shit on it's fanbase with the Wii U and PS4 has still yet to receive anything great and is once again spending the holiday season relying on multiplatform releases and content-exclusivity deals due to the lack of any actual 1st-party titles.

@Mirimon78: I feel exactly the opposite. The D-Pad was great on the 360, but the Xbox 1 D-Pad is a piece of shit. It doesn't work with fighting games for shit. Dead or Alive 5 is next to impossible to play thanks to the angled and rotational combos. I'm looking forward to getting the Elite controller just so I can have the interchangeable D-Pad and finally get my disc back.

@atakanovic: Considering the Master Chief Collection featured 5 achievements for completing each of the 5 game's campaigns in under 3 hours on Legendary difficult, I would say 8-12 on normal is decently lengthier than any entry yet in the series. Speedrunners will ultimately get the campaign down to under 2 hours, just as most games can be beaten in an insane amount of time, but average players will get more value out of this than most other entries in the series.

It's also worth nothing that the only other game in the series to have 15 levels is Halo 2 (and that's including the opening cutscene and the Armory each as a separate level entry.) The rest of the games featured 10 (CE), 9 (H3), 9 (ODST), 9(Reach) and 8 (H4) respectively, so Halo 5 is still pretty damn large compared to the other games in the series.
