I still have the old release versions of FFVII & FFVIII for PC. I haven't touch them since I got a new computer back in '05. And now since I got them from the PSN store so I can play on my PS3, I'm really never going to play it on PC.

I like ToGf. I don't know if I could have been that much of a friend though.

(SMALL SPOILER ALERT!!!)

At some point you gotta just think big picture and sacifice a pal when the world is a stake. I was screaming at the screen like, JUST KILL HIM!!!

(END OF SPOILER)

I still haven't beat XIII-2 either but I'm right at the end. Just trying to beef my team up before the final battle but knowning that it has a cliff hanger ending isn't propelling me to finish it anytime soon. Can't wait till the end of the month to see how SE is gonna screw us over this time, 'cause if anyone is still a fan of SE, getting screwed is part of the reward these days. They need to stop procrasinating and bring Type-0 and any follow up to the rest of the world. I don't have a PSP so they better at least let me download it to the Vita.

I hope they stop dangling this game in front of us & let us get some real info outside of showing us the same cutscenes and that crumb of gameplay footage. This 25 anniversary event they got going on better have a lot of answers and not a cliff hanging ending like FFXIII-2. Damn SE loves to torture their fans.

I almost bought it not too long ago. I had a Target gift card and couldn't find any games I wanted and then I seen FF: Theatrhythm. I was very tempted but then I got too cool for it being that I'm a grown a$$ man and never played a rhythm game before. After much inner self debating, I ended up getting new speakers for my computer...which I needed since I spend a lot of time doing music. But deep down...............I wanted to play with all the funny looking FF characters. Maybe one day.

I don't know it came about. I know the original 60gb had BC built in. But the 80gb Metal Gear Solid one must of had an emulator built in. All my PS one games work fine and I've played what few PS2 games I have left (mostly GTA series + Xenosaga series) on it with no problems. I bumped out the 80gb for a 500gb. I've had it for over 5 years with no problems. I get the multi-card reader & 4 usb ports that the slim doesn't have. Wouldn't trade it in for nothing....well, not unless the PS4 is backwards compatible with everything.

You guys make me want to break out my XII. I wonder if I still have my end game save. My PS3 wasn't an original launch one (Metal Gear 4 bundled PS3 is what I have) but it still plays a bunch of PS2 games. If I can play the Xenosaga series on it then I should be able to play FFXII.

I'm currently playing Tales of Grace f. I'm on the bonus content now. And I'm playing Tales of Abyss on the 3DS...I'm sure I'm close to finishing it. I got Tales of Vasperia which I'm dying to get back into. I finished it but I want to play it again with all the upgrades I purchased after beating it. I wish they would release the PS3 version state side so that I can get to play all the extra stuff hey put in. I even bought the movie which was cool but not great (IMO). Tales series been holding me down more lately than the FF series.

If SE is going to take this long on the game...they should just really sh*t on their loyal customers. People have waited this long, why not have them wait a bit longer and put this as a launch game for the PS4. Have Sony commit some capital to keep it exclusive, make it look really good with the new found horsepower in the PS4. It would sure to help move units and give everybody who was dying for this game like 3 years ago purchase what would probably be an expensive piece of machine just so they can finally play it & probably complain about it. At this point, I really don't see them releasing it. Bring me Type -0 for the PSP & Vita. At least that one's out in JP already.

It's probably more cost effective to put FF remakes on handhelds than consoles. Which is why I doubt we'll see a FFVII remake on consoles. I think if they did do a remake it would be for the 3DS or Vita. That would definitely move units but they would spend so much time on a console version, it might not be as bankable. They'll probably end up making it look maybe slightly better than Dissidia or Crisis Core. But who knows. Maybe they're saving it for the next Gen so after you play it, you'll watch Advent Children & it'll flow seemlessly graphic wise.

I bough a Vita on launch and it's a cool handheld. It is lacking on games but the games I got are giving me what I need. Hot Shot Golf was pretty damn addictive. I spent a lot of time with that. UnCharted is pretty cool & shows off the Vita's graphic power. Then I got Rayman Origins which loves absolutely beautiful on the Vita screen. I just got Disgaea 3 which is now taking up all my handheld free time. The Vita has just enough for me where I can wait for the next good game. But I also have a 3DS, so I can go back & forth inbetween those long droughts of AAA games. But now that Sony's PSN Plus dropped 12 free games on subscribers lap for the PS3 (I only have one of the 12)...I guess won't be without entertainment for a while.
