Mmm, some might have seen the first-person view and thought "not Resident Evil enough" though some might have been burned by the last game. The latter's understandable, I wouldn't say Capcom is consistent when it comes to quality.

Had my fingers crossed there'd be another free weekend soon. I played Siege shortly after launch and wasn't a big fan, but I hear the game's improved a lot ever since. Looking forward to giving it another shot.

@mrdinghat: I was hopeful EA learned from the first Battlefront and make an amazing Battlefront 2. Instead they crammed it with microtransactions and gave up on telling a decent story after the first three missions. So I wouldn't hold out hope they'll finally learn with Battlefront 3 :/

@videogameninja: At least it's 9 million copies shipped to retailers, doesn't mean they were all sold to customers - hopefully they'll stay on the shelves, which means retailers won't order more copies. Added small consolation, I guess

@chiefwiggum16: Yeah real shame about Titanfall 2, it was awesome but now EA's got their grubby hands on it :(

@zmanbarzel: Personally I wouldn't recommend it even if you're just interested in the single-player, started off really promising but after the first three levels it's just really disappointing :(

Never thought I'd see the day I'd want to see the government step in and regulate the gaming industry, but loot boxes/microtransactions are a worrying trend and minors getting hooked on gambling is a legit concern. You can't count on companies like EA and Activision to know where to stop, they'll just keep pushing it to see how much they can get away

@dudebropartyyo: People want to see remasters for different reasons though, like sometimes they just don't have the original discs and sometimes it's because some games don't age as well as others. I was actually really surprised when I booted the first Assassin's Creed again on my PC, it aged a lot worse than I pictured in my head. ACII is another game that didn't age as well as I thought and I was happy to replay it again with The Ezio Collection, plus I personally wanted to have some of the games I enjoyed as a kid on PS4 since it's my go-too console.

That said, I'd definitely like to see more PS2/Xbox era games being remastered too and I think the main reason we don't DOES come down to companies wanting to make a quick buck. I wouldn't go so far as to say PS3/360 games is pointless though, just I think we're seeing more of those because it's way easier (not to mention cheaper) than remaking a 10+ year old game from the ground up in a new easier.

@playstationzone: Yeah I would have liked to see an AC3 remaster bundled with Rogue, possibly with Liberation included too, so I'd have the complete collection on PS4. All the flak AC3 gets online might have made Ubi decide it wasn't worth it, though.

I'm hoping this one doesn't get overlooked because of Origins, or it's just another lazy port, because Rogue had one of the series' better stories for sure. Seeing things play out from the opposite side was pretty fun and more fun ship-to-ship action (having to think about Assassin ships ramming and boarding you as well as picking on other ships was pretty cool). Not sure it'll be worth it for those of us who still have it on last-gen, but definitely if you missed it before.
