@ConanTheStoner: Fair enough, to me I feel that most gamers recognize him. But I agree that most non gamers may not know who he is outside of 'assassin dude from that assassin game'.

Ezio is iconic, he is the most loved lead of the series. The only assassin to even come close is Altair just because he is the OG. As the face of one of the largest franchises in the industry, he is well known and has left his mark.

I'm loving Splatoon, I don't think it is going to become the big thing everyone tries to imitate; but is unique and very fun.

The fact that they think releasing a spin-off (that looks generic as hell) with no actual metroid game insight is awful. Not to mention if this flops Nintendo will probably pull the whole "Well I guess people don't like Metroid" card and shelve the franchise for a long ass time. FFS, you have some of the best developers that work for you and with you, and you can't make an actual Metroid title. This E3 was just full of spin-offs. At this rate its looking pretty likely they are holding everything for the NX.

To a casual watcher/gamer that doesn't game much, the difference may not be inherently noticeable and certainly isn't as flashy as shiny new graphics. In defense of Youtubers, it was somewhat recently that Youtube finally added the ability to post videos in 60fps, so the confusion can stem from there.

That being stated, and I doubt anyone will disagree, while 30fps is playable and not inherently bad 60fps (or even higher) will always be prefered it looks and plays better; and I for one would rather have a higher frame rate than shiny new graphics.

@charizard1605: Whoops, must've skipped over the last bit though I think you added that last bit after I posted, regardless what's that about a third edition? Are they gonna pokemon it up, put out two games, wait a year, then release the super duper edition?

Are we just going to ignore the fact that he said it is going to have a 'fulfilling story' yeah, sure it will. Bungie has changed so much since they were making Halo, and not for the better.

First thing that comes to mind is Deadpool. Gameplay eventually grew stale and bleh, but lord did the Charm and writing carry that puppy to the end.
