Meh, I didn't hate him, I just hated how they kept using him. The whole series has been cater to what works. The first game was okay, and the second game exploded with popularity, so producers at Ubisoft are probably like "we need more Ezio!!. Then naval ship battles were big, so they're like "we need more, let's make a pirate game!!". Hell, weren't done with pirates, probably why we got Rogue. MP caught on, so they're like "we'll make our next game, Unity, less like a single player game, and more like a character that must level up like in competitive MP, and while we're at it we'll make the controls unresponsive, sluggish, and let's get rid of whistling because it makes some things too easy." Whatever they think the masses like in the next game, they'll hammer down on it the year after when the sequel comes out. That's the evolution of AC. That's what Ezio makes me think of.
