My words, if anyone cares to listen, are that this business model will actually hurt the price tag of new games in more ways than one. Let me explain. I work at a game store, almost the right hand person there, so I know all the information of shipping and purchasing of games for the store stock. Let's say we get a new game that retails for 59.99. Our cost on that game is most likely 54.29. That is not a lot of profit. The major income for a game store is infact used games. We take in a 59.99 game for 30 or 35, and sell for 44.99 or 49.99. That gives us a lot more income. Systems are even worse. We get a ps3 in for 248.98 and sell for 249.99. If used games are taken away from places like my store, we will have to start selling NEW games for 69.99 or higher just to make ends meat. IF they do this, a lot will suffer. I fear for our hobby fellow gamers.

I posted before about how dumb the nit picking was. Now that I got my Vita early from Amazon's early shipping (by their mistake) and ebgames selling their games early (for what ever reason) along with Wallmart. I can safely say that all these nit picks are indeed false. I'm not sure though if Gamespots Vita's are some how not performing correctly, (this is possible) but my vita does not take 3 or 4 whole seconds to awake from sleep. The dashboard is extremely sensitive and works well. I don't sit there having problems doing anything. I'm not trying to say Gamespot is WRONG, I'm just saying it sounds like their vita they were using might be faulty. Do not let this review decide on your purchase, use it as extra information.

Woah..woah hold on. I respect anyones opinion but this just seems like nit picking to the next level. I will not say the Vita is perfect because obviously it is not. But a 3-4 second delay for the screen to come on? That can't just be the very expensive led screen warming up right? Or how about having to close a program to go to the browser? The 3DS has to do that as well as in comparison. Loading times being long? Sure I can give you that one. Like I said, Vita, not perfect. But seriously..come on. What about the games? Were they fun?

Nice try with the article, but I'll never stop fighting for what I believe in just because someone said I already lost. I will lose when I die. I don't see Steam as DRM, I see it as an online buying program that I can also play my games offline just in case. Can't fool me. Also, another reason why Steam exists, is that it's hard to sell physical copies of PC games now. I work at a game store, no one searches for them now. It's because the PC, like in any situation, is further ahead than consoles. It has entered the digital age. I'm sorry but digital things will always be tied to an account if they are smart, or else you get another itunes issue where you have to keep rebuying your songs. Just a penny for your thought.

This is what really annoys me. A lot of people here have said things that, are the truth, but shouldn't be. Thing's like, 7.5 is the new 5. Or a 5 is no longer the average score it means failure in gamers eyes. In my view, rating a game 6 like gamespot did right here, is perfectly normal. I think it fits Neverdead perfectly. If a gamer views a 6 as a 2, then that is their OWN twisted vision, and should not reflect anyone else with the ability to see things for what they are. Gamespot should not have to defend their own opinion, which is what this all comes down to in the end. You can have a different view your self, heck, even I have written my own review about a game that got a score I didn't like, but I don't hate GS for their own view. It sounds to me like it's just a bunch of kids that are spoiled with all the 9's and 10's. Man I come from an age where games sucked 90% of the time. The angry video game nerd wasn't made from thin air, those games he plays are real, and they were a large portion of the nintendo library.

How about they just don't drop out and actually evolve? If you want to stay afloat, invest into some research to what your people want from YOU. Not from what you want from THEM. This is a golden rule that I, with no schooling of business, can tell you. Why can't people making 30 bucks an hour figure it out? If your costumers are happy..you are happy.

I'm not sure when HL3 is going to be out, but what I do know, and I'm almost 100% sure of this, is that Bioshock Infinite is going to be mind blowing....and so will HL3. Bring on these two gems!!!

I might be reading this wrong, and if I am, than that is my fault. Though to take a quote from this article. "We could not have created a game with the scope, scale, and multiplayer features of Crysis 2 if it were a PC-only title. The PC market just does not support that cost of development, but going multiplatform does" I just don't get it..the scope? Scale? Multiplayer? Did they forget about a game that was only on pc, called Crysis 1? It had bigger scope, and scale, and graphics. As far as I know, Crysis 1 and Warhead made tons of money. Maybe I'm looking too far into it though.
